A: Pours a light golden color with a small head that fades fairly quickly to no real lacing.
S: Aroma of citrus, fruit and bit of malt sweetness and grain.
T: Taste of citrus with some fruit and mild malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a clean finish.
F: Crisp and refreshing although it is a bit bland.
O: Nice summertime beer as it is refrshing and goes down easy.

Ok - just quickly looked at the scores on this one of other reviewers before I typed.... there is a worrying trend in the scores over the months/years. Downwards.
Pours a light straw. One finger head dies quickly. Good lacing.
Aromas of malts and some grain. Not much going on tho.
Taste is bland central. Dear dear. Bready malts, overall sweetness, no real hop presence.
Mouthfeel is fizzy and light.
This is nowhere near a Kristalweisen, more a euro-lager and really not too different to Pure(!). Not good. Methinks Cascade have dropped the standards over the years. Second Cascade tonight which has missed the mark - by a long way...

Drank from my De Struise glass
A - Poured a golden colour with a inch frothy white head that laced very well.
S - A dull and faint grainy aroma with a hint of citrus. Not much at all really.
T - A little citrus and wheat with some hint of spice.
M - Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation
O - A light crisp refreshing beer that would be nice on a hot day but to me it lacks that intense flavour to be a good kristalweizen.
Not for me.

Pours amber with a large, fading head.
Uber-skunky aroma, but also some honey, wheat, citrus and coriander.
Flavours also show a fair whack of citrus and coriander, other just a lot of sweet malt and very soft doughy wheat. Could really use some bitterness!
Very watery body.

Very clear light yellow (blond?). Heaps of bubbles in the glass; soft drink-like. Nose has some character, faintly spicy with some aromatics. A bit of a surprise in the mouth….more herbally hoppy notes and spice, a little reminisce of a German hefe (but only just). Essentially light bodied but some credit must to the Cascade for the slight deviation from the norm.

This pours a honey yellow colour with hardly any head. Clear.
Aromas are sweet grain and a bit of citrus.
The graininess continues on the palate. Quite a bit of sweetness. Nice bit of maltiness at the back.
I think I was thrown by wheat beer being on the label. To me it is much more like a lager. I wish the weather was warmer and then I could down a lot of these.

I keep forgetting how good this beer is, particularly for the price.
Copped some grief from my wife when I bought a slab of bottles "I can't believe you bought some blonde rubbish... you're always going on about how crap it is". I had to remind her that not all blondes are the same (looking at her bottle job)... anyway....
Carton has 2.10.09 texta-ed on the side... guess this is when the bottleshop puts it on sale...
a) Pours a stable, 1cm white fluffy head, pale golden yellow.
s) Lovely fruity wheaty aromas, more akin to wit than weizen.
f) Wheat-driven, sweet grain & husk flavours. I think this probably aligns more with American Wheat in style, than Krystalweizen, as there are no banana/clove esters in this.
m) Creamy medium body, crisp finish, a good drink
d) Easily knocked back a six-pack last night., after which my hosts plied me with Crown & Boags.... no contest really. I give it full marks for drinkability, considering its value.
This is arguably the best value beer in the country. And better in the bottle than on draught.

A better than average offering from a main stream brewer.
It is light and citrussy and is .
Very little hop is evident but the malt is empered and sits well with the lemon like flavours.
A good choice for a hot day and , as it is freely available it should be a more frequent choice

Pours a light straw color with some bubbly head that fades away fairly quickly. Smells a little yeasty, and slightly flowery. Tastes very clean, some sweetness, a little hoppy bitterness on the backend. The mouthfeel is very bubbly but not harsh,. Finishes a little sour, but not bad. All in all, it's a very nice blonde. I would definitely get it again, especially for a hot day.

When visiting the brewery they said that this was made with 60% wheat, but brewed as a lager - I'm not sure how you'd classify that, but the comments that it seems to be a cross between a kristalweizen and lager seem to make sense.
It is a very pale straw colour with a moderately lasting frothy head, good lacing. There is little aroma, although some hops detectable. The taste is of citrus hops, with a pleasant but subdued bitterness. Carbonation is well managed. I think of it as being quite a pleasant lager. A nice summer drink.

Pours pale macro colour with a surprisingly good head and good lacing. Aroma carries a slighty whiff of citrus. The beer is light in flavour, low bitterness but with a slight subtle note of the citrusy hops and even a little maltiness. Perhaps a little sulphury qualities like I'd associate with a lager. Carbonation is good.
Overall a good refreshing beer without a lot to it. No faults and a good balance. I would not classify it as a kristallweizen though, perhaps an american wheat.

Appearance: Pale Golden colour, slow rising bubbles. Good head retention. Some lacing on the glass towards the end of the beer.
Smell: Bit skunky actually. Caramel malts and citrus hops however are in nice balance although quite weak.
Taste/ Mouthfeel: Kinda weird, its like cascade premium crossed with a Kristal Weizen. Bitey carbonisation which goes down easy and smooth with some coarseness on the palate. Again, caramel malts, with some zesty, citrus hops which fight back and forth and balance really quite well. Finished with a smooth malt finish on the palate with that hop bitterness on the side.
Drinkability/Overall: Had this on tap at cascade brewery and in a bottle. Both were nice experiences. Definitely not a genuine wheat beer. More like a larger cross wheat beer. Pretty average, but hits the spot on a hot day.
