A - Pours a clear golden-yellow with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of cracker and grainy malts with some grassy and floral hops and a bit of citrus hop.
T - Starts off with a mix of grain and cracker malts with a touch of lemon and citrus hops. Through the middle, some grassy and floral hops come through with a bit of bitterness. The finish is a mix of grainy and cracker malts, grassy hops, and some lager esters.
M - Medium-minus bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and grainy finish.
D - Very drinkable. Good refreshing lager with nice overall balance and a refreshing mouthfeel.

Poured into an imperial pint glass.
Quite the head initially and as this goes down there is some white lacing. Golden yellow in color.
Euro malts in the nose with some grassy/floral notes and just a touch of grape.
Medium mouthfeel that is very pleasing. Great pilsner character throughout that is backed up by noble hops. Very good marriage between the malts and hops. More malty than I anticipated but so drinkable.
Another great selection from Epic Brewing Company.

Really starting to get into the different lagers from anywhere I can grab em.
This one is from New Zealand and that immediately caught my eye, even though it was pricey. But hey, it's from a place not known for their beers (at least not to me).
Poured a nice golden color with a 1 inch head on it that went away pretty quickly. Great lacing. Smells really good; grassy, slightly hoppy, sweet malt and citrus. Tastes is amazing. Really fresh earthiness, grass, pepper, and spice. Nice! Lingering bitterness on the back. Mouthfeel was perfect for me, not too light or rich.
Really liked this a lot. Price is a stopping point of me buying this all the time but well worth a try imo!

Pours a piss yellow color with a thin head into my glass. Did I just describe it as piss yellow?
Sweet, sweet, sweet. If there are hops, my nose can't find them that easily.
Ditto, ditto ditto. Nothing to write home about. Cooked veggies, burnt hops and malt that is far beyond crisp. Yep.
Mouthfeel? There is one?
Epic for sure..an epic failure that is. I wouldn't bother next time.

A: Straw yellow color, completely transparent, and carbonation can be seen. Also very thin white head.
S: Smells a little grassy, but there is some citrus in there. I also smell some grain.
T: Initial taste is the grass-like earthy flavor. Malt character is mild. Finish is not what I expected.
M: High drinkability, very clean and refreshing.
O: I enjoyed this lager, my first New Zealand brew, and Epic has done a nice beer. I would really like to try it fresh, on tap.

A - pours an extremely light pale straw color and crystal clear. the color itself is not really appealing but the clarity is impressive. lots of bubbling carbonation and a soft cloud like white foam.
S - the aroma starts off with skunky European hops but develops more of a grassy, herbal and slightly citric character. the malt profile is reminiscent of crackers and sweet biscuits.
T - the flavors are similar to the aroma. the malt profile is soft with notes of crackers and hay as the zesty hop bitterness comes in and coats the tongue. the hop flavors are peppery and earthy with a hint of citrus. the bitterness lasts long after the finish.
M - very light, maybe a touch watery but very crisp and refreshing.
O - very enjoyable on a warm summer night. easy drinking and full of flavor. a great example of how good lagers can be.

Poured a 2" white head which quickly dissipated. Clear straw yellow color. Smell has some grains and grassiness as well as a faint start of skunking. Taste again is grains and grass. There's a slight acidic zing and a short finish. So let me say I'm honored to have my first try from New Zealand, I'm sure it's better when it's fresh, and this is at least equal to the BMC styles in the US. But otherwise, this is nothing special, just strictly average lager.

Pours crystal clear golden with small carbonation rising. Small white head that has decent retention.
Aroma of hay, grass dominate.
Taste also has the hay, grass thing going on. Light malt, light hops.
Mouthfeel is light, clean and crisp. Slightly dry at the end.
Overall, a decent beer. Very drinkable. Good for the style.

Heard about this beer a while back and have finally been able to try it.
Pours a nice light golden yellow and the smells are bright and vibrant. Tons of hoppy aroma with floral notes jumping it. It tastes really balanced but a great flavor right off the tongue. Its crisp and has a medium feel. Overall this is a great beer, really has some interesting flavors going on.

The beer pours a very light golden clear hue with nice carbonation that leaves behind a frothy two finger head that quickly recedes to a thin layer of smog, the smell is very typical of a lager with aromas of grains, sweet golden malts and also a grassy hoppy aroma,it has a medium bodied mouthfeel which is nicely carbonated and has tastes of sweet golden maple syrup followed by a distinct grassy hoppiness to give it a dry bitter finish, overall not a bad brew thats fairly easy to drink but have had better.

Pleasant enough lager from Premiere Gourmet. Pours light yellow, with no lasting head to speak of, which is difficult the way I pour. Neutal aromas. Good drinker this hot late summer night. Average mouthfeel for he style. Dry finish. Nothing special to speak about taste wise other than not offensive.

This poured a nice straw color with a billowing sea foamy white head. Aroma is slightly sweet and malty with some hops. Taste is super clean and fresh. This is a moderately crisp brew with some nice tingling from the carbonation. In my opinion the hop level here is absolutely perfect for a lager like this. Lacing is light and sporadic down my pint glass. This is a super refreshing beer! Super drinkable.
Its not worth ten bucks though.

Light straw, crystal clear with a big, fluffy white head. Brilliant.
Light NZ hop aroma with notes of tropical fruit. It could pack a bit more punch but for the style it is quite good. Light pils malt aroma.
For a premium lager this is very good. It hits the light, crisp malt note with a clean bitterness and a nice undertone of hop flavour. There is just a hint of characteristic sulphur flavour. Good.
Light and crisp with moderately-high carbonation. Dry finish.
Exceptionally easy to drink with good clean flavour. Pity about the price.

Golden pour with a small, short-lived head.
Aromas show a fair bit of NZ hops, with passionfruit, clean sweet malt, some spicy hops. Light, but pleasant.
Flavours show some grassy and passionfruit-like hops, slightly grainy and bready malt, and a dry bitter finish.
Light body, but the carbonation is on the high side.

Pours a bright and crystal clear gold color with a small white head.
Very nice, bright floral and spicy hops, and a bit of sugary candies and citrus fruit.
Crisp, and a little tart up front. Some light malty sweetness, a touch of creaminess, and a bright crisp lemon taste as well. Finish is crisp, with a mineral and citrus hoppy bite.
Good, full, and nicely carbonated.
Quite good, this is a fine lager / pils, I'd happily drink this one again, especially in warm weather. This hits the spot, and is really easy and pleasant to drink.

A - Pours a clear, light golden colour with a few centimetres of fluffy white head that hangs around for a while. Patchy lacing is left down the glass.
L - Grassy/herbal hops at first with a slight floral touch. A slighly sweet pale malt hint.
T - Again a grassy and herbal hop character with some floral touches but a slight fruity character also comes through; a touch of peach & passionfruit. Enough slightly sweet pale maltiness to balance.
M - Light bodied, fairly high carbonation.
D - A decent NZ lager. Something I'd drink more of.

This pours a clear pale golden colour. There is a reasonable head with good retention and some lacing.
A good whack of citrus on the nose and some floral notes as well. A little bit of malt at the back.
I really like the powerful yet balanced hoppiness of this. A bit of fruit salad in there and a slight bit of malt sweetness. Finishes dry and refreshing. Medium bodied.
A touch on the expensive side to make it a regular option but a very good beer on occasion especially on a warm day.
