Pours a deep muddy amber with minimal head with spotty lacing that melts down the side of the glass.
Aroma is strong and rich. Not very hoppy. I am getting a lot of sweet sticky malts and a plum or raisin aroma.
Taste sweet sticky and tangy with lots of malt. Not much hops. This beer may be a little old, so that might explain the lack of hops.
Not bad, but not very amazing. Would love to try one that is fresh, I might have a whole different option.

Pure, clean, satisfying IPA. There's a realness to the venue and the proximity to the harbor added to the psychology of the taste experience. The in-house keg facilities along with the subject-matter-expert staff support the great taste of this superb IPA.

Pours a hazy amber with an almost overwhelming head that has significant retention – over 30minutes!? I worried that the bottle was infected, but neither aroma nor taste show that indication – think it’s just an oddly pressurized bottle. The beer itself maintains some limited carbonation, so still has a reasonable mouthfeel.
Aroma of caramelized hops with a mild undercurrent of citrus. Some tropical fruit hop tones enter the flavour, but more malt-forward than many other beers of this style. Finishes with a decent bitterness, albeit less "west coast" oriented than my own tastes would prefer.

A: A glass consuming beige tinted head towers above the rim building to a staggering height with a time consuming manner of demise. A light rustic orange colored body shows a moderate display of effervesce. Significant sudsy patchwork generously lines the glass.
S: Aroma of sweetly toasted grain and pine. Awareness is a bit lacking per ipa standards.
T: Toasted grain along with toasted citrus come to life. Flowery dry citrus with a respectable amount of hop bitterness. Has a bit of sweetly toasted nature upfront and follows through with a finish of pine-citrus hopping.
M: light and creamy, bittering with a low presence of carbonation, dry bittering finish.
O: Generous amount of flowery citrus, yet hits the sweet spot between hop respectability and drinkability. Bitter yet delightful enough for multiples. Leaves you with a lingering hop spiciness that easily invites more. At 6.2% this feels much lighter and crisper going down. good for a few.

22oz bottle pours clear amber with a huge creamy beige head that recedes very slowly and leaves lots of lacing on my snifter. The aroma [3.75] is dominated by light citrus fruits and sweet malts. There is some sweetness from the malts in the flavor, but this is more bitter and hoppy than the nose suggests. The citrus fruit notes are accompanied by pine and pineapple as well as some earthy and herbal notes.
Medium bodied with ample but soft carbonation. A bit too astringent.
O: A solid IPA with a striking, huge and creamy head.

Poured from a 650ml bottle. The colour is rich, deep yellow with an orangish tint. Huge hit of earthy, piney, spicy hops in the nose. Really lovely aromas. On the palate this is a super-drinkable, nicely balanced IPA with plenty of earthy hop flavours.

A- Pours a hazy copper with exceptional head retention - appears overly carbonated/bubbly
S- Good sweet smelling mix of malt and hops. I get hints of caramel and apple with floral/citrus notes.
T- The hops takeover here more than the malt for sure; more bitterness than anything. Not a TOTAL palette wrecker but the bitterness really sticks around . I wish some of the sweeter elements I detected in the smell came through in the taste but unfortunately not.
M- Very prickly, high end carbonation. Combined with the overwhelming bitterness it's all just a bit too much.
O- I've had worse, but would not buy again. It just needs more balance. Started out looking decent and smelling nice, but downhill from there.
