Stopped in here for a quick brew with BierManVA on 26SEP12. We had visited Andechs earlier and hit Spektakel for a short spell before making our way to The Wiesn...

Spektakel is about 10-15 minutes by foot from the Oktoberfest grounds, set in the bottom floor of a massive corner building. You can enter the Stube either by the door at the front corner, a door at the middle on the side street, of from around the back, near their Biergarten. We sat in the garten, but inside was quite the "spectacle". It is the very definition of comfy and rustic, with numerous small rooms made up of worn, weathered wood beams, tables, chairs and benches. It looked really fantastic! The Biergarten was dozens of tables and benches set amongst numerous big-ass chestnut trees, with chestnuts strewn everywhere! Service was pretty good, though it did seem like we were overcharged for our Maßes of Bier. They had five biers available, all from Hacker-Pschorr: Helles, Dunkles, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweizen and Kellerbier. Not a bad place overall. Zum Wohl!
