Bar manager took it upon himself to pour it for me in a pint glass. He produced no collar, decanted only slightly. I'm left with a very hazy golden yellow brew with just a thin ring of white on top.

Apple, banana, nutty yeast, clove, bread crusts, and a hint of watermelon rind. Hard to get much more without the ability to agitate the beer in this glass.

Creamy flavors of spice, yeast, bread, and lighter fruit. Banana, clove, green peppercorn, crusty bread, booze, apricot, and marmalade. Fruity and estery, and not short on potency. Finishes long with spiciness. A blend of wet, yellow flavors.

A tad heavier than medium, and with more than just a bite of alcohol, but it still feels bready and nice with that light spank of carbonation that I like in a tripel.

A pretty good craft tripel that I'll have to try again (but, not tonight).

12 oz.

Pours a light, slightly hazy lemon gold. Thin white film for a head.

Smells of coriander, lemon zest, grassy malts, and semi-sweet citrus.

Flavor is of light grassy malts, hints of wheat, and tart and sweet citrus fruitiness. A very mild hop bite comes through in the aftertaste.

Body is on the full side with light fizzy carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

Pretty decent Belgian-inspired ale, not quite in tune with the style to me, but that aside very enjoyable and refreshing. Has some saison-like elements. Definitely worth a try.

This new(er) seasonal release from Great Divide pours a golden-orange, and is capped with a thin, off-white head. A decent amount of lacing is provided by the slowly dissipating foam. An intriguing bouquet of aromas leaves the nose with wonderment. Hints of oranges and apricots join a delectable Belgian yeast funk, as well as a good amount of spice. Wheaty malt flavors quickly join orange, coriander, and clove with just a hint of pepper joining some citrusy hop flavors in the finish. A good deal of carbonation joins a medium body in this tasty brew. Orabelle is almost like a mix between a tripel and Belgian wit, and that is not a bad thing...

Cheers!

12 oz bottle, bottled on 12/31/12. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet and tart fruit with corriander and a bit of funk.

The flavor is bready malts with some fruit and corriander and a bit of a funky bitter finish. The mouthfeel is pretty full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a solid beer. Kind of a cross between a tripel and a wit. Easy drinking but with a bang.
