Got this 12oz single for $1.83 at Manchester Wine & Spirits, Manchester CT. Bottled on Aug 17 2010. Served chilled in a chilled pint glass.

Somewhat hazy golden orange brew shows ample carbonation clinging to the glass and puts out 1" of fizzy light tan foam that collapses on itself over a few minutes to leave a good bit of webby lace behind.

Aroma of soft mixed citrus hop, slight metallic twang, on a bed of light supporting malt. I'm guessing Amarillo is in this mix.

Taste leads with a good dose of mixed citrus hop rounded out by smooth vanilla oakiness. Then an odd coconut flavor jumps in soon after and becomes especially prominent in the finish. The oaked hop ends up as a tropical kind of spin, mango and pineapple. This seriously tastes like a pina colada! Quite tasty.

Body is average, carbonation is maybe a touch robust but soft overall. Slight alcohol burn in the finish but that's only upon reflection, not a major player. Seriously quaffable, gone before I knew it.

Let me again stress the cocoanut flavors in this beer. That plus the tropical hops seriously makes this taste like a bitter pina colada.
