S-Strong malt, smoky, burnt notes, caramel, nuts and other spices.

T-Balance of malt and spices, some burnt notes, caramel round out.

M-Medium bodied, not much carbonation, smooth.

O-A decent winter ale, not spice heavy but the malt character was good and balanced.

A:Pours a mahogany color with a decent head that fades to nice lacing.

S: Aroma of roasted malt, some dark fruit, bit of spice and hint of chocolate.

T: Taste of roasted malt, dark fruit and some chocolate Nice bitterness and a clean dry finish.

F: Medium body, smooth and creamy. Has a nice richness and flavor is enhanced as it warms. No real hint of the 8.7% ABV.

O: A good beer to curl up with on a cold night. An enjoyable sipper to get you the winter season.

A: nice dark brown color with a 2 finger tan head that has decent retention

S: I'm detecting some faint musky wood that is overlayed with sweet Carmel. Overall pleasant.

T: a little acidic wood flavor upfront Followed by deep warm malt. some acidity stays on your pallet for a decent amount of time.

M: good carbonation slightly thick.

O: this is a decent malty brew. I'm glad I got it in my variety pack but nothing I would seek out
