3 year vertical, '08-'10, ratings reflect a composite score. Big Thanks to Bobby8405 for the critical '08 share.

A - All have great camel-colored head and deposit very nice swaths of lacing upon the glass. '10 is the most translucent and radiant, boasting a deep ruby-mahogany hue, with '09 & '08 being increasingly turbid, rustic and hazy, still with the same rich woody hue. It looks fantastic.

S - Lemon-zesty hop is notable in '10. More rich toffee-dark-fruit maltiness in '09 & '08. More chocolate notes in '09, more oat-y and lemony notes in '08 (though not like '10.) '08 & '09.

T - '08 tastes: Tobacco malty, nutty, as savory as it is sweet. Lingering chocolate-maduro flavor develops as it airs out. Some delicious butterscotch flavors, and some lemon-herbal hop remains. '09 tastes: With more focus on nutty flavors, cocoa-hazelnut, dark fruit and some earthy green hop. '10 tastes very good, with more of the authentic woody and blended 'Old Ale' flavor (an intangible perception on my part.) I like '09 best, flavor-wise, though '08 is close, and '10 is also outstanding.

M - '08 has the best mouthfeel I have ever encountered. Like a work of art. '09 has feel almost as good, but more sparkle and less creaminess; still it is flawless. '10 is actually better than '09, and is thereby dead-center in perfect territory.

D - Exceptional, regardless of vintage.

A: nice dark brown color with a 2 finger tan head that has decent retention

S: I'm detecting some faint musky wood that is overlayed with sweet Carmel. Overall pleasant.

T: a little acidic wood flavor upfront Followed by deep warm malt. some acidity stays on your pallet for a decent amount of time.

M: good carbonation slightly thick.

O: this is a decent malty brew. I'm glad I got it in my variety pack but nothing I would seek out
