This is the final bottle I sampled from the Great Divide Variety Pack.

Bottle date was 11/11/2010

Enjoyed in a DFH Pint Glass

A - Pours a rather deep brownish-red color. A one finger head on the initial pour that fades rather quickly. Decent lacing.

S - A rather sweet, chocolate smell. I'm also getting some kind of fruit-like smell, maybe raisins.

T - A nice tasting beer. A combination of fruit, chocolate, cinnamon and slightly burnt malts are the predominate flavors. The alcohol does make a slight appearance but never takes away from the other flavors.

M - A slightly tangy bitterness lingers after each sip. Medium to heavy consistency.

O - I enjoyed this beer. It was sampled in May but this really is a winter-type of beer. Maybe a one or two a night type beer due to its heaviness. As the final beer in the Great Divide Variety pack, I'm really pleased with the quality of this, as well as, all the beers I've had from Great Divide.

A: nice dark brown color with a 2 finger tan head that has decent retention

S: I'm detecting some faint musky wood that is overlayed with sweet Carmel. Overall pleasant.

T: a little acidic wood flavor upfront Followed by deep warm malt. some acidity stays on your pallet for a decent amount of time.

M: good carbonation slightly thick.

O: this is a decent malty brew. I'm glad I got it in my variety pack but nothing I would seek out
