This was one of my go to places for mixed 6 packs back when I really started getting into beer. I also purchased my original pieces of glassware here.

The beers are way in the back. There is no refrigeration, just bottles on shelves. Front and back of a small isle shelving unit. They have some 6 and 4 packs but all of them are also broken up into singles. There are some 750s of Unibroue on a separate shelf.

They have a decent selection of cheap glassware. Pretty much everything to get you started into drinking from the proper glass. Snifters, Pilsners, a couple sizes of Wiezen glasses, mugs, pints, nonics, wineglasses and some brewery labeled stuff. Mostly Stone, Guinness, and Rouge.

The beer selection is decent. Nothing here you cant find other places though. Plenty of Bell's, Victory, Celebrator, New Holland etc.

has one double sided shelf of beer, no refrigeration. Has most of the essentials with no macros, nothing really special to mention except for the gift box selection, most notably the world beer box set they have available which has quite a few beers which I've not seen on Ohioan shelves anywhere. Also, they have a great glassware selection, ranging from several hand craft brewery tumblers and other special glassware, which makes the trip here worthwhile. Great service that is helpful and friendly.

I decided to stop in here a couple of weeks ago because I heard they had a good make your own six pack selection so I decided I would give it a try. They have an average selection of handcrafts and imports that are stored at room temperature. I made my six pack but when I got home I realized that I had forgotten to check for freshness dates and found that 2 of my beers which had dates were about 1 1/2 - 2 years old. I returned the beer to see about either refunding it or swaping it for a fresher beer and found that many of the other beers were too old. I decided to take a refund and they gladley gave it to me. If I can find a pilsner with a freshness date of august 8, 2008 and it's july of 2009 I think I might just spend my money at a place that keeps old merchandise off their shelves.

This place has been opened for a few years and I had never been in it until about a year and a half ago. I was surprised to see that they sell alcohol. They have a great wine selection and a number of micro and macro brews. They have a create your own six pack where you can mix up any kind of beer you want. As the reviewer below me said, you can probably get a better selection of both beer and wine at other liquor stores, but they do chance up their stock quite often here and it's at least worth checking out every now and then

This Cost Plus World Market is located in the Lennox Center, just west of Ohio State's campus, on Olentangy River Rd. at the Olentangy/Kinnear Rd. exit of US315. In the same center are a movie theatre, coffee shop, bookstore, clothing stores, and restaurants. Plenty of parking in front of the store, especially because it's at the opposite end of the center from the movie theatre.

Cost Plus World Market is one of those eclectic stores where you can buy just about anything, from furniture, snacks, and glassware to beer, wine, and candles. The focus, as the name implies, is on imports from around the world. For instance, I often visit to buy candy from England, which is usually hard to find. So any trip to the store will most likely entertain/overwhelm you with the amount of stuff in it.

The same goes for the beer selection. This World Market has three or four tall shelves just full of beer. Two of the shelves house four- or six-packs, while the other two feature single bottles, making this store a must-stop for sampling single bottles of a variety of beers. And while the focus is on world beers, there are some of the better American microbrews available, too.

Here's a list of just a handful of their offerings: Bell's, Great Lakes, New Holland, Rogue, Paulaner, Taj Mahal, Kingfisher, Anchor, Chimay, Pyramid, Buffalo Bill's, Sam Adams, Harp, Heinecken, Belhaven, Hornsby, McEwan's. These are just the tip of the iceberg - the store usually has multiple selections from different breweries (i.e. 6 or 7 of Great Lakes, 4 to 5 of Bell's).

Overall, definitely worth a visit. Very, very nice selection with lots of good finds.

Located on the other side of Lennox Place away from the theatre. They used to have a much wider selection which now leaves me somewhat dissappointed compared to what I used to know. I remember two aisles loaded with craft selection and now the beer gets a corner, the BACK corner. They have a good selection of Rogue, some Belegian greats I've yet to try but have heard good things about. They need more GLBC but have a decent offering of singles and 22 oz bombers. Not a bad place to start. I haven't visited this place in quite some time but from what I've heard thye haven't changed much, if any.

This World Market is in the Lennox shopping center near the OSU campus. It is part of a strip mall so parking is always available, although you may have to walk a ways.

World Market is a great store. It is like Pier 1 but with alcohol. They have a selection of wines and beers from all over the world. This location seemed to be smaller and more cramped than the other ones in Columbus, and the same goes with the beer/wine area. Instead of being in and aisle with an endcap of singles, all the beer is kind of stuffed into the back corner of the store.

You can find pretty much the same brews, like Corsendonk, Unibroue, Anchor, Great Divide etc . Regionals like Great Lakes are available as well. It seemed like the selection was smaller, but it may just be a trick of the eyes by the way they are presented. All in all, this is a one-stop place to try 50+ beers without having to buy more than one bottle at a time. While you're there, you can get a chair from Japan and some placemats from India.

Service is decent. You can usually find a person in the wine/beer section who knows what they are talking about.

Pretty much the same as all the World Markets around here. Not a large number of beers, but it's a decent selection that is greatly improved because everything is sold in singles. Service is friendly and helpful, but I don't think beer knowledge is their forte. The one big knock against quality is the fact that none of the beers are refrigerated. This one seemed to have a slightly smaller selection than a couple of the other locations in town.

This is much like the other Columbus World Market locations except the beers are huddled on some fairly high shelves in the back corner rather than on more accessible island shelving. Plenty of good foreign and domestic sixers and singles to choose from; no refrigeration and perhaps too much ambient light for many of the beers. Parking is adequate and the standard checkout system is in place. I did have at least one person ask if I needed help. I didn't, thank you very much.

This store fancies itself as a better version of Pier One, which it is. So it surprises you when you walk to the back and see the wine. Then to the back of the wine section, you see their beer. They have a very good selection of singles and sixpacks. Not much cold, however. Also will keep gift pack boxes up front. I usually hit this place besides Grapes of Mirth because of it's location and it's selection is more well rounded.
