A-Pours a dark as night kola hue which leaves a frothy, creamy two finger head that stays.
S-Strong dark expresso,Dark chocolate and dark malts.
T-Even though the hops are there i feel they take a step back with the predominant tastes being Rich dark coffee/expresso,burnt toffee, dark Belgian chocolate and a dark fruit hoppiness at the end without being bitter at all and the after taste is more like when you have just finished a very milky cappicino very nice especially if you are a coffee lover as well a beer lover.
M-Medium bodied and somewhat creamy, not as creamy as a milk stout but nearly there.
O-Well what can i say apart from that ive had many a coffee porter in my time but this brew definately nails the coffee factor and it really does taste like a ice coffee/beer and in my eyes a perfect compliment to a dark rich dessert and i would definately buy again cheers.

P: 16.9 fl oz bottle in to a globe glass
A: SRM is dark brown. Head is light tan, 1 in, dissipates to 1 cm. Medium carbonation. Medium lacing.
S: Robust coffee notes, malt. Sweet smelling. Light hop notes on the nose.
T: Does not follow the nose. Mild hops shoot straight down the palate, followed by medium roast malt and coffee notes. Not sweet at all. Aftertaste is coffee and malt, with a dry semi-bitter finish.
M: Medium/light body. Combination of hop forwardness and malt and coffee additions give a mf that is at first excited by hops and then coated by malt and coffee notes.
O: A good beer. Interesting combo of hop-forwardness and a medium malt/coffee base. The aftertaste is a nice light/medium coffee which I like. I would drink this beer again.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a coal black color and a thick, muddy consistency. There was a big, creamy, long-lasting head. Great lacing.
S: A big amount of coffee in the smell (as you'd expect), with some malt and vanilla as well.
T: Tasted of coffee more than anything else, with a good amount of malt, chocolate, and vanilla in the finish. Not as powerful or dynamic as I expected it to be, but a likeable flavor nonetheless.
M: A good amount of carbonation with a surprisingly dry and smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: In spite of a couple of minor hiccups, this is a drinkable, well made beer.

Pours a deep, opaque sable just a couple red tomcat whiskers above black with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma has notes of semi-sweet chocolate and coffee and hints of caramel and molasses. Coffee flavor has chocolate and caramel tones and is a little sweet, but not too sweet. Body is fairly thick and heavy, but fizz is minimal. Overall, a darned good porter, which I recommend to all porter and coffee beer lovers.

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.
No crowberries here...just coffee. (Would that be considered an inside joke, or just a crappy one with a seriously vague antecedent?) It pours the murkiest black-brown possible, with no real light passing through, topped by over a finger of sandy sienna foam. The nose is dominated by dark coffee, with some rich cocoa and some minor bits of roasted malts in the background. A small shaft of molasses comes through as well. Nice stuff here. The taste follows pretty much identically. Seriously, I have never encountered a taste so very similar to a smell. Damn, now this is consistency, baby! The body is a straight medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a creamy, smooth feel. Overall, a damn fine coffee porter. 'Nuff said. Trust me.
