A-Beer gurlgels out with little head...pristine looking cherrywood color...
S-Mildly yeasty and spicy...toasted malt predominant..some fruity notes evident..
T-Big toasted maltiness leads the way....also some very nice middle layers of black pepper, cloves and pistachios...yes pistachios..never noted that in any beers before but this has a bit of a nutty pistachio impression deeper in...finishes with a spicy kick...
M-Pretty light in the mouth...could use a little more girth...or carbonation maybe...not bad but this area could use some work.
D-Pretty tasty brew....I'd like to see the ABV and girth kicked up just a little to maybe 6-to-6.5%...overall though this is a nice addition to the Minnesota beer scene....definitely a quality brew..

A: This has a brilliant rich amber color with a thin off-white head.
S: Spicy, fruit, some aniseed, faint clove to all spice, yeasty bread.
T: Bready malt start the attack with light fruit and spice finishing with a entle hop accent.
F: Dry, medium body and carbonation.
O: A very drinkable Belgian style pale ale.

Amber color with average head. Generally the sense I got was of the aromas and flavors of belgian yeasts combined with american hops varieties. Enjoyable but lacked the complexity or distinct flavors that would make it stand out. I should caveat that I'm not too familiar with belgian styles.
