Always a great craft beer selection here and their prices are right on par with everyone else in town , well lit and ample parking .
They also have liquor and wine in store just in case you are shopping for other things , makes for a nice one stop shop.
They usually have all the latest releases and quite a few Belgium , German and other imports as well , If you follow them on Facebook you will know when certain beers are being released.
They also have a nice store in front of the beer shop with a nice cheese selection and a helpful staff that will help with pairings.
This is my favorite place to shop for beer in Columbus period , They have a very knowledgeable staff ( Adam , Julia ) that have always been friendly and eager to help with any question .
They have tastings every Saturday and for a few cents you get to try some new release and specialty beers .
One of the few places where you are actually treated like a customer and I appreciate that in a business.

Beer in the back in kind of its own room, actually has its own entrance. 2 staff were helpful and giving adive to others. Inquired if I needed help, which I didn't. Took the time to comment on purchases and others I may like, this is the service as a geek I look for. More in the way of passing suggestions, extrapolating from what I purchased.
May not have as much rare stuff, but they had some nice seasonal stuff people may just not realize is good. Bestefar comes to mind. MUCH better OH selections than Palmers. Came through looking for locals, Alesmith, Troegs and 3F. This place satisfied the local fix. They had one Alesmith(Speedway), but not what I was looking for. The make your own sixer had mostly large micros in it. Still I purchased about a 1/2 case of stuff here versus the 3 bottles from Palmers, though to be fair this included 2 four packs.
Reminded me a bit of the Green's warehouses in SC, though a little smaller. Maybe a small Binny's also. Would stop again passing through, same with Palmers. 71 going north or south, these are just a get off one exit, stop, get back on the next one down.

Somehow I never made it around to stopping by Weiland's until last night. It's in a small shopping center, and Weilands is an actual grocery store.
Parking was annoying because the shopping center was busy as hell at 6pm on a Saturday night.
The beer is located way in back in a separate liquor store area. There beer is split into two opposite sides of the room. On your right is a small cooler space full of mostly BMC, and a rack of singles that consisted primarily of Belgians, saisons, and sours.
On the left side is a larger cooler lined with a few singles but mostly chilled 6/4packs of craft. There are also a few more shelves stocked with more craft beer.
I came in search of something specific and didn't find it so I moved on. However they were carrying Breakfast Stout and had a couple bottles of Rockmill Cask-Aged Tripel which seems to be in high demand.
Prices were a step higher than they should be, but nothing outrageous.
Overall definitely worth a stop, especially considering its proximity to Palmer's.

Weiland's has a pretty nice selection of beer and the prices are quite fair--they had a very small selection of singles, which were generally of poor quality and unattractive. However, the quality of beer on the whole was very good. Prices were good but I didn't really see anything that was a steal to speak of. The atmosphere is good too, as the beer/liquor is in its own room aside from the busyness and noise of the grocery market. Staff was very friendly and seemed to know their beer, which was refreshing.

Weiland's is a good place in Columbus to combine beer, liquor, and some higher-end groceries. The beer selection here is good, not incredible, but definitely one of the better places in Columbus. They make a point to emphasize the Ohio beers, which I appreciate, and have a decent selection for mixed-sixers that includes seasonal offerings. The service has always been excellent, with recommendations and even beer tastings on the weekend. This is one of my favorite places to shop in Columbus because of the variety and the very local feel.

This is a good sized gourmet market, with the beer and liquor store as separate department in the back...very clean..very large selection of beers..large import section, and a wealth of beers available in Ohio, with plenty of locals..a large refridgerated section...plenty of bombers, sixers and even a nice singles selection..all these at fair prices..very refreshing to see..the staff is available.. but they let you browse, as beer geeks do sometimes..the nice part is I was able to find the beer and food pairing I was craving,in particular, that evening..if you are in Columbus seek this place out...well worth the trip

Just up the street from Palmer's, my go-to. It's basically a 'gourmet' grocery store that has a liquor store/bottle shop attached the back.
They have a decent stock of cold beer, as well as a good amount of it kept at room temperature. The selection is pretty good, but I haven't seen anything here that I can't get at other locations around the OSU campus.
They had a mix-6 option as well, but the selection for that was rather thin and unimpressive. My girlfriend took advantage of it to try some new things, but I went for some better stuff. The service is about the same as you would get anywhere else. Haven't had anything jump out at me with regards to that, but I also haven't had anything disappointing happen.
Overall a good place to pick up your weekend stash. I usually stop by here and Palmer's to see if anything interesting is at one but not the other. Nice to have two quality places so close to each other.

This is a mid-size neighborhood grocery store that carries mostly specialty foods and drinks. The beer is in the back in a separate room, and was kind of hard to find at first.
They really have a great selection though. It's mostly in 4/6packs, but there is a decent selection of bombers also. Most of the beer is already chilled, but they have a great selection of local Ohio crafts.
The singles area is not very good. It's very limited and typically nothing really special. Great place overall!

Stopped in here today after work based on the reviews I read here on beeradvocate.
I'd have to say that this place has a decent selection of beer for Columbus. The beer and liquor are both in a separate room from the rest of the store. I came in on a Friday afternoon and they had a table set up in the corner giving out samples of recently released summer beers.
They had a decent selection of 6 packs and a few bombers. There was also an area with a bunch of singles where you could make your own 6 pack for $9.99.
A bit out of the way for me, but I could see myself coming back here every once and a while to stock up on some more "rare" stuff here in Columbus.

This is probably one of the better beer stores in Columbus. Not necessarily a great place to go to find some of the harder to find beers though, because they just move to fast. With that said though they always have a good amount of normal release and seasonal beers.
The staff is always helpful and someone there will be able to answer any questions that you have. If you are looking for something that they don't have they are always quick to take down your information and call you when they get the products in.
Overall this is a good place to stop if your visiting Columbus or live in the area, especially on a Friday or Saturday when they are doing one of their tastings.
