I've been to Mojo's a few times since moving to Brighton about a month ago. I really do like the atomosphere, good for a sports bar. The service however has not made me want to go back after my last visit. There was a group of about 9 of us and was there for happy hour. Service wasn't impressive to begin with, but got worse as the night went on. When I saw a 20% gratuity at the end I asked to speak to a manager and tell him about the service and how I thought our server didn't deserved 20%. Not to mention NOT ALL OF US HAD THE GRAT. He quickly pointed out that there were at least 6 of us and that's why it was on there. I told him if I had to pay it I wouldn't be back. He apparently didn't care, so I won't be back.
I like mojo's for the sports bar atmostphere. The beer selection isn't that great, many popular lagers (bud, miller, dos equis, coors, etc.), plus guiness, fat tire, stella and newcastle. Those are pretty much it, so definitely not a good beer selection
Foodwise, it's nothing to cheer about. I had sliders on the occasion listed above and they were pretty good, another time I had a burger and it was good as well. The chicken sandwich I had was chopped up chicken on toasted white bread, which didn't impress me. I assumed it would have been a whole chicken breast, but was disappointed when it wasn't. Oh well, live and learn.
Even before the incident above I woldn't have gone here for good food or good beer. If you are looking for a sports bar with an unimpressive beer selection and average food, not a bad place. I'll go next store to Floodstage for my beer from now on. There I'm impressed with their selection!

I have been waiting for several months for this place to open and I am excited to be the first to review it.
The place is called Mojos, its a good sized sports bar & grill in Brighton Colorado. If you are familiar with Brighton you probably are aware that there are not really any beer bars, so this is a wonderful place. Although they seem to pride them self on being a sports bar they still have the towns biggest selection on tap and probably in bottles as well.
I took my family (beautiful wife and 2 young girls) in for dinner and found that they put on a pretty good sports bar meal. To start off we had an order of calamari ($7) that was really nicely prepared. I had the Guinness beer battered cod, the wife had a chicken BLT sandwich and both of the girls had the kids chicken strip meals. My fish ($10) was amazing, freshly battered and fried I could not complain. It came with golden fries and a small side of slaw, great bar meal. The wifes chicken ($7) was a little overcooked but still was not bad, also with fries. The kids seem to be pre-processed chicken striped ($4) but they were still of good quality also came with fries and drink.
After browsing over the drink menu I decided to try New Belgium Brewing Companies seasonal brew; -2 Below ($4). I was a tough decision but turned out to be a great beer. The beer seemed to be fresh and the bartender understood how to pour the perfect beer.
I noted that the maximum occupancy was listed as 450 persons. They have 18, +50 plasma televisions, 3 pool tables, Shuffleboard and a jukebox. For convenience they also offer and ATM.
If you live in or are visiting Brighton I would highly recommend Mojos as a great place to grab a beer, dinner or even take your sport coat clients.
I stopped in today January 31, 2007; I was a little less impressed with the place. It took nearly 45 minutes to get my meal and my ($9) Mushroom Swiss burger was pretty average. My buddies ($7) chicken club sandwich was poor. The chicken was partially burned and the bread was kind of soggy. However the beer was still cold! Amen. I will still stop back in for a beer, might skip the over priced meal next time.
