I was also lucky enough to get a growler of this kick ass nectar recently.

Pours from the growler a coppery color. Very minimal lacing. Aroma was very full and robust. Hints of citrus and sweet licorice.

The taste is all over the place. Competing fruity, roasted malt and licorice flavors tempting the taste buds interchangeably. Not much of a hop presence, but not overly malty either. A very nice treat indeed. So nice I am glad I only had one growler to consume.
