Sampled at the La Jolla location on 12/1208, reviewed from notes, cloudy light yellow color, big one inch soapy white head, some retention, lacing at first, smell is faintly hoppy interestingly, no spices, very little wheat, lack of fruit too, just a little malt, taste is rather light and probably the least flavorful beer I have had in a while, not much to say other than some yeast, water, and weak malt mixed together disguised as a hefeweizen, wheat is barely noticable at any point, mouthfeel is slightly dry but other than it is quite watery, medium bodied, no taste to fall back on, goes down easy but that is because there is not much taste there, low ABV, not heavy, could drink a lot probably but would choose others, not recommended

This American style wheat beer pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a decently thick head. I asked for no lemon; I would encourage others to remember to ask, because they love their lemons at Rock Bottom. Aroma is faintly hoppy. There is very little hop flavor or bitterness. At first you get a clean medium wheatiness that gradually is replaced by a strong toasted/bready maltiness, which I am guessing is Munich malt (they love their Munich malt). No clove/banana as in a hefeweizen. Finish just a touch dry. Medium to full body. A bit gassy. Overall, this is a fine beer for the style, but it just strikes me as uninteresting.
