I've had this one on multiple visits to San Diego. I feel it’s a staple in my travels. I've noticed this at other establishments besides Coronado's own. 10/06
A: A dark liquid with a light brown foam 1/4" head that quickly dissipates.

S: This has a nice roasted malt aroma.

T: Great roasted malt flavor, almost a rich caramel. After eating a piece of Gouda I noticed more caramel malt flavor came out and gave this an excellent finish.

M: Smooth and well balanced.

D: I usually enjoy one of these.

Adam

This was a decent nut brown ale from this brewery. It was a dark reddish brown colour with a nice head of tan. The aromas were of nuts, and deep malts. The taste followed suit and the mouthfeel was a bit thin. The drinkability was just OK as well...OK, but i'm not impressed.
