A- brick red color, off white head, 1/4", retention was pretty decent left lacing on glass
S- toasty malts.
T- highlight was the finish, strong with a spicy bitter bite, felt kinda like mouthwash with the way it tingled all over. Sweet w/toasted toffee flavors at first.
M- thinner bodied, but coarse on the palate.
D- goes down easy, unique feel. didnt ask for a refill, but i'll probably get one on my next visit.
a bit of a disappointment for an american amber ale. still worth a try though

The beer as it sets in the pint glass is a deep ruby to almost brown color with a modest semi-creamy tan head, and the residual lace a concealing sheet upon the glass. Nose is lightly floral, with nice grain sweetness, fresh and clean to the senses, start is somewhat sweet, nice grain profile with a fair to middling top. Finish has a stern acidity and the hops pleasantly spicy, quite dry and a nice drinkable bee. As its been almost five weeks since I sampled my last beer, it actually tasted great, as I missed my daily hop fix, and this one hit the B spot.

A brown-red brew topped by a sticky white head which settles quickly. Aroma of English-style hopping with toasty grain malt. Thin earthy hop flavor with sweet and sour biscuit malt. A bit acidic, medium-bodied. Seems like they're trying to emulate Fat Tire here, a beer that has massive popularity in these parts with the general public as a "good beer", but one I'm not a big fan of. I'd much rather have a Rogue American Amber. This was better once I had the pizza to go with it though.

Poured a clear ruby-red color with a minimal off-white head. Very little carbonation and hardly any lace left in the glass. Smell was sweet, of caramel and light hints of grainy malts.
The taste was sweet with an underlying earthiness. It had the flavors of caramel and hints of dark fruit up front and a toasted malt backbone. The finish was pretty much devoid of any hops, having only the slightest of bitterness. The feel was medium-bodied, smooth and clean.
Overall, not a bad amber ale. Just not that good, either. In a word: boring.
