Enjoyed at the Clybourn location.
A: thin head with scattered lacing on a clear bright golden body.
S: sweet citrus, very light yeast and herbal notes. Simple aroma.
T: this one is really kind of simple and plain. Grains, breads, light Belgian yeast and citrus.
M: medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: a very simple and forgettable saison. It tastes good, just isn't very complex.

Served in a tulip. Clear light golden color. Served with a moderate sized fluffy white head. Good retention. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly muted, but what is there is lemon and some light yeast derived spice. Flavor offers up a bit more: lemon and lemon rind, some light spicy clove, a touch of banana and just a liitle back pepper. Very mild sweetness. Light to medium body. Appropriate carbonation. Mild bitterness. Overall a nice Saison offering up a good dose of lemon with some yeasty accents.

Served in a tulip glass at the brewpub.
Nice to have a Zombies reference whilst drinking, dining, and listening to some of the Zombies' contemporaries. Good times. This stuff pours a clear straw-amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises black pepper, light clove, light banana, and mild orange zest. The taste holds notes of lemon zest, light black pepper, light banana peel, and a vague sense of bitterness near the finish. It's a sorta rough, simplistic saison on my tongue, but one that still finds a way to please. The body is a very light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda dry finish. Overall, not the best saison Goose has ever put out, but one I still found to be generally enjoyable.
