"golden ochre color" otherwise known as amber. Served with a large light tan head. Served in a British pint glass. Good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma is heavily malty. Lots of caramel malts. Some citrus hops and a little lemon. Flavor is pretty malty as well with notes of bread, yeast, and some citrus hops. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Mild bitterness. Listed as an APA, but tastes more like British mild. Had on tap as well and preferred it to the cask as the hops were brighter and more pronounced.

Fantastic beer to be had on cask. It pours a deep amber with a finger of consistent eggshell white head. Very inviting citrus, combined with an earthy and herbal hop underbite. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something new from Goose. It's not too bitter, not too sweet, a wonderful mix of everything that represents a quality IPA on cask.
