On-tap at Hackney's Printers Row in Chicago. 10 oz. pour into a snifter.
Pours a bright golden yellow, clear. Really nice color and light, glowing and buoyant. Brought to me with minimal head. Little visible crabonation. Decent lacing. Color carries it.
Smell is powerfully fruity. Sweet orange and a unique apricot-like smell, followed by honey. Rich, sweet, and really nice.
Taste is like the smell, but with the addition of a nice coriander spice pop. Still has the sweet orange and the rich pulpy fruit. This is delicious - the spice balances out the sweetness and really brings it all together.
Medium-bodied, a bit of sugary stickiness. A little light on the carbonation, but good. Finish is looong and sweet.
Drinks like a pumped-up witbier - heavy on the fruit, heavy on the spice, missing only the yeast. I really like it. Rich, sweet, fruity, and buoyant. A fantastic combination of flavors, and one that I wish I could get more often.

On tap @ frontera's in the Chicago airport
The beer pours a clear golden yellow with a thin wispy white head that laces. The nose is relatively sweet, quite reminiscent of honey. The flavor is similar and it's a relatively neutral saison with a lot of sweetness forward (less yeast compared to the nose) followed by a subtle bitterness. It's very clean and drinks well with my meal, semi-dry finish. this is probably one of the best O'Hare airport beers, one which I wouldn't mind drinking again in the future...especially paired with a super spicy meal!

Appearance: Served on tap in a Collins glass. Looks very much like iced tea, especially with some fruit juice mixed in, specifically cranberry and orange.
Smell: Very faint smell of orange and some floral herbs. A bit too subdued.
Taste/Mouthfeel: Initially tastes like iced tea sweetened with pear. Then the orange juice comes into the play, which transitions nicely into a faint pine hop bite in the finish. Great balance and transition. Starts smooth with pear and finishes crisp with the pine.
Overall Drinkability: Another very impressive Belgian by Goose Island. Paired perfectly with an enormous porkchop and red cabbage with feta.

On tap at Goose Island Clybourn. Served in a sampler glass. Pours a golden-yellow color with a big white head and some lacing on the way down. The nose carries some mild spice and citrus peel. Very light hop notes in the background. Flavor has spice and light malt plus some citrus and fruit. Body is light-medium with high carbonation. Pretty good, though nothing stands out all that much.

A - Light hazy orange, with red tint. Small foam head
S - Floral up front with strawberry bubblegum and slight esters in the nose. Light lemon as well.
T - Lemon, light elder flower, grassy, strawberry, bubblegum, orange zest
MF - Light carbonation, creamy medium body that fills the mouth. Light spice lingers on the tongue in the finish
O - A nice fruity Saison that has a strawberry presence that you don't find too often. Not great but worth it if you can find it
