22oz bomber poured into a snifter. Bottled on date of 11/12/12. I've been looking all over for this one and finally came upon a bottle. Here we go:

A- Pours a thick and dark black color, no light coming through whatsoever. A small amount of a caramel colored head quickly fades. Very little carbonation is noted, and lots of lacing can be seen along the sides of the glass.

S- Smells like regular BCBS ramped up on coffee. Great coffee notes come through, as well as chocolate, dark fruits and oak. The bourbon is also very notable in the smell too.

T- Awesome stuff, A pleasant take on regular BCBS. Tons of coffee and chocolate notes up front. Some hints of dark fruit and vanilla is in there too. The oak and bourbon flavors finish out the taste.

M- Thick, little carbonation, hot but in my opinion not as hot as regular. The coffee gives it more drinkability, no way I would guess this is 14% ABV.

This is a great beer. It's hard to say that something is better than regular BCBS, but I feel I enjoyed this more. The coffee notes make it much more drinkable to me. Definitely try and get your hands on some. I hate to hype beers up too much, but this probably one of the best beers I have ever had.
