2011 Vintage (2010 Vintage)

A-Deep black, not much head but what is there is a deep brown (Deep motor oil black, two finger brown head. 4)

S-Lots of coffee, some bourbon and roasted malt (Roasted malt, some bourbon, a little bit of chocolate but not much coffee. 4.5)

T-Overwhelming coffee, bourbon is present but not hot, ends with bitterness. As it warms chocolate comes out. Well balanced. (Chocolate and roasted malt, the coffee seems to have faded, bourbon also seems faded but does come in as an aftertaste. Some bitterness. 4.5)

M-Heavy, creamy and thick. (Heavy, thick but little carbonation. 4)

O-Much better fresh, the coffee is more present. (A wonderful beer, wish I had this fresh. I'm looking forward to this years version and hopefully I can crack it open ASAP. 4.5)

S-poured from bomber bottles
A-Very dark, tan head, lacing
S-As it warms it goes from slight bitter coffee to a full, nice, fresh coffee smell
T-Base stout is there and creamy, but fresh coffee taste dominates once it warms up. Very good. Not bitter, not sweet, just all the qualities of a fresh cup of quality coffee. Very good and may be the best coffee I've had in terms of balance.
M-not as creamy as some other Goosse stout variations, but no complaints. Just about zero carbonation in mine.
O-Excellent coffee stout, top notch, seek it out!
