Poured on tap at The Federal in North Hollywood, CA.

A: The beer is a hazy dark orange or light amber color with a 2 finger offwhite head.

S: Fruity, herbal, and slightly spicy with sort of a citrus rind note being most prominent. Clove and a sweet, presently unidentifiable note (gin?) over some fresh bread.

T: Very smooth with subtle hints of citrus and some pineapple baked in bread. Spices, clove, honey, pepper. Light yeast character and a light finish that leaves you wanting more.

Overall an excellent, dangerously drinkable beer that stands up to many of the best Belgians. Recommended.

Beautiful rich copper color. Pretty clear. Good size bubbly slightly off white head with pretty good retention. Leaves some white lace on the glass as it goes down. good looking brew. Some orange citrusy aromas, also some spice there. Getting a little bit of banana also. Smooth and drinkable. Velvety medium mouthfeel and body. Pretty crisp finish. Lingering spice. Like this beer a lot, really good balance. Extremely smooth. I would make this a regular in the rotation for sure. Want to pick up antoher bottle of this to cellar.
