Poured from 12oz bottle to snifter

A: pours very dark brown, nearly black, producing a light brown head about 2", which has good retention and leaves some lacing.

S: nice malty smell with hints of roastiness as well as a slight hop profile. not too much going on

T: Not too exciting, nice roasted malts dominate the palate over the otherwise bland flavor. Strong roasted finish with a coffee hint. Easy to drink at any pace.

Overall: mouthfeel is alright, a little thin, but well carbonated. Drinkability is very high, seeing how a six-pack would be no problem. A very nice session stout.
