A - Poured into a pilsner glass. Nice golden color with 1/2 inch head.
S - Great fresh hop smell with a hint of sweetness. This is one great smelling IPA.
T - Well balanced front taste that leaves a punchy but not overwhelming hop bitterness in the aftertaste. The taste blends with its smell creating a twofold sensorial experience while drinking it.
M - Carbonation is right at the first sips but goes away faster than other beers as you finish the glass.
O - Refreshing beer that can be drunk by the six-pack without getting bored of the taste. In my opinion this is a great example of an India Pale Ale.

Part of the Goose Island mix 12 pack...
Pours a slightly burnt orange with an inch of off-white head...nice lacing on this one.
Getting more prominent sweet malty aroma than hops...the hops that are there are more floral than citrusy to me.
The flavor is more malt forward than hop forward...not that it's a bad thing. Tasty beer. The hops are not bitter at all, making this one a very easy drinker. Carbonation seems a bit low too, and it's not a dry finish either...quite refreshing actually.
This is a nice, simple and very drinkable IPA. Not a hophead dream come true, but a good easy drinking affordable IPA nonetheless.

Appearance: Clear. Golden amber. A decent lace of head lasts throughout the duration.
Smell: Pine and citrus.
Taste: Malty, grapefruit. Bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Well balanced. Dry.
I really like this English IPA. It is quite malty. The moderate bitterness is enjoyable. The grapefruit and pine are refreshing. Honestly, it's close to an American IPA. I would probably get this again.

Pours a golden copper color with a finger of head, some of which sticks around for a bit leaving nice lacing on the glass. The nose has hop notes and some lemon as well. The flavor is a solid combination of malt and hops and the finish is dry and bitter. This is a pretty good offering for a single IPA.
