Thanks go to Kegatron for gifting me with a can of this. 12oz'er poured into a standard pint glass. The brew appears a pale golden yellow with a bit of particulate stuck in suspension and 2 fingers worth of frothy white topping hanging around the top. The cap slowly fades leaving patches of lacing effect sticking to the glass. Rising bubbles of carbonation maintain a film across the top that lasts throughout the duration.
The smell of this brew is somewhat lemony almost with a spritz-like quality about it that at times has a minor candy touch to it. The lemon aspect mingles with the sweetness presented by wheat and an overall cereal-like grain quality. The aroma of this brew is really a 1-2 punch: it's lemon and then its fresh and grainy. Beyond that you wont find much else. But for a pale wheat ale, what do you expect?
The taste is a reiteration of the aromatics. There is seemingly a candy-like appeal to this brew's flavor that is lemony somewhat like sweet tart candy but with a solid wheat backing that provides its own element of sweet cereal-like grain quality that is fresh and inviting. At times, there are trace hints of herbal hops that help in breaking up the wheat flavoring.
This is a light bodied brew with a moderate amount of carbonation. It is light, refreshing and easy drinking. I think i would have enjoyed this even more if the lemon aspect didnt come across so candy-like. Also, the grainy sweetness of the wheat only over-emphasized the candy feel to this. Regardless, the alcohol is well integrated and this was effortlessly drinkable. It really hit the spot after getting shit done around the house and breaking a bit of a sweat. In the summertime, I would have no issues throwing back a bunch of these. Thanks for the gift Heath!

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. A rocky two-finger white head is formed; it doesn't have the best retention by any means.
S: Bland. Touches of lemon esters augment some faint noble hopping...and that's about it.
T: It starts with a bit of lemon, and ends with wheat malt flavors. This is really damn bland, though hardly a bad brew.
M: A bit too chalky on the palate - as such, it's not as drinkable as it could be.
O: Did I mention bland? Yeah. It's completely inoffensive though, so this wouldn't be a bad choice if the only other offerings were BMC (wait a minute...)
