Poured a dark copper hue with three finger frothy off white head. There was very good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a grainy malt, se caramel and a touch of diacytl.

The taste consisted of a toasted buttery malt and a light grassy and earthy hop. Good residual toastiness.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.

Overall a tasty English style ale. Well done.
