Thanks Mr. Noonan IPA is a tribute to the late Greg Noonan who left us this past month. Mr. Noonan once gave IPA brewing advice to the head brewer of John Harvard's when he was just starting, those pearls of wisdom went into this beer more than any other IPA they brew.
A - this IPA arrives a hazy dark rust/amber color and half a finger of shiny tan billowy head, too hazy to note carbonation
S - whoa! super lemon/grapefruit citrus with piney and floral followups, amazing hoppiness in the aroma, some residual background sweetness, makes it obvious this IPA will have some balance
T - double whoa! super sweet/sour lemony/grapefruit citrus on the tongue with some floral and piney hops to create an overall killer hop profile, to balance this hoppiness is the subtle brown sugary sweetness that the malts adds
M&D - no exaggeration, this is my new favorite IPA, smooth yet challenging on the palate, with one of the richest, most flavorful hop profiles i have ever passed over my tongue, this honestly has displace 120 min as my favorite IPA, what a great brew. RIP Greg Noonan, you would be honored by this namesake
