Although there is a "Harvard Light" listed as an American Pale Lager, at the Manchester CT location their light is listed as an ale.
Brewed with Pale and Munich malts, and Tettnang hops.
This beer was clear and pale yellow, about expected for something classified as "light".
Aroma was lightly fruity, with notes of lemon present. That was unexpected.
Taste was of light malts, very slightly hoppy. Flavor was there, but as the name suggests, it's rather light and understated. Not surprising.
Mouthfeel was light and smooth. A little thin, but not too much so.
Drinkability is just OK. If you wanted to session, this would be a good beer, but as they stated on the beer menu, "this is a good one for people who like mass-produced beers but want just a bit more flavor". That's what it had, just a bit more. Not enough to make me want more, or very much for a beer of this style.
