Served on tap in a pint glass.

A- Very dark black coloring with a light brown head.

S- Chocolate and malt presence in the scent, but not too overpowering.

T- Very creamy taste, but definitely very bland. I was expecting the taste to definitely be stronger than it was.

M- Very creamy, somewhat thick feel to it. Bland so it goes down easy.

D- Definitely very drinkable, but I'm not sure how many of these you would want to have since it is a very bland beer.

Cask at JH. Pours black with a thick, creamy light tan head (nitro, I think). Aroma of sweet malt and cocoa powder. Flavor is super chocolately with a light smoky finish and a touch of oatmeal in there. Light-bodied and smooth as hell to drink. I've got to try this again!

Cask sample at the Pittsburgh location. Pours flat black with a thin beige head that dissipates quickly. Slippery lacing. Aroma of coffee and malt. Medium, smooth body with a roasted coffee character. Cask-conditioning really brings out the coffee-ness of this Stout. Some malt and hops bitterness are buried in the flavor too. The finish is bitter and roasty and stays with the coffee theme. There really isn’t enough alcohol in this beer to give it a real kick but it is still pretty tasty.
