Notes:
The Venskab experience is a symphony of aromas and flavours. On the nose expect tropical and citrus fruits (pineapple, Japanese yuzu), as well as hints of Sauvignon Blanc and oak. The flavours reflect the same with remarkable depth and complexity. Well-integrated alcohol makes its presence felt, as does a drying earthiness.

600ml brown bottle with a freshness date
LOOK: Mildly hazed golden hue, sturdy white lacing.
SMELL: White wine, oaky, spicy, wild herbs, exotic fruit, chalky yeast, mellow alcoholic esters
TASTE: Smooth, slick, medium body, vinous, warming, oaky, faint sulphur, yeasty, walnut skin, dragon fruit, biscuity, earthy, mint, peppery, drying woody finish
A sipper all the way, the Tripel character is there with layers of the wood additions, herbs and fruit. A thinker's beer.

Appearance: It has a nice cloudy deep golden/orange color to it. It has a nice thick white head that dies down moderately and leaves some lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitly give out hints of citrus, spices, white wine, some yeast, oak and some sweetness from the malts.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has some nice citrus, pineapple, almost tropical, with the white wine notes in the back, sweet malts, light spices and some oak but it comes out more as it warms. Like mentioned on the bottle, Venskab is a symphony of aroma and flavours.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium/high carbonation with a very nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with great flavors and aromas. Props to Beau's on this one, one of the best you guy's have brewed so far!

Hazy orange colour, one finger of white head, some lace as well. Smell is spicy with notes of ice wine and vanilla, some yeast and oaked fruity notes, spice and wine comes out much more as it warmed. Taste is fairly spicy at first followed by malt and yeast flavours, some sweetness in the form of vanilla and ice wine, getting some green apple as well and some nice oak flavours. Medium-high carbonation that seems quite active thanks to the champagne yeast, full body and a nice weight. This was incredible stuff, a very complex and enjoyable beer, glad I got to try this.

Bottle at Volo for the release event. Thanks a ton to Rob for this bottle. Collaboration with Anders Kissmeyer of Kissmeyer Beers - a Belgian Tripel, hopped with German Perle and Belgian Cascade. Made with bog myrtle and organic cane sugar, then aged on Southbrook Organic Ice Wine-soaked oak chips during primary fermentation. Then aged in Canadian white wine barrels with a final addition of the Japanese yuzu fruit. Bottle conditioned with Champagne yeast. Served in a tulip.
Reddish orange with a white head, quite voluminous. Not much lacing but a good bit of retention. White wine is prominent in the nose, malty tripel notes, some spice and citrus (the yuzu perhaps?). A touch of oak and the champagne yeast really comes through nicely, almost giving this a Brut-like character. More spicy and fruit notes on the palate (yuzu again?) and a bit of oak. The interplay between the white wine notes and the tripel works really well. Champagne yeast only augments this interaction. Different flavours every sip, but this was quite complex. Bubbly and effervescent, great feel and drying to the right amount - easily encouraging of further sips. Easily the best beer Beau's has ever had a hand in.
