On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.
Poured a light straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a light ester and lemon zest.
The taste consisted of a light grainy malt with soft citrus zest.
The mouthfeel was thin for the style.
Overall a decent wit. Nothing to write home about.

A: The beer is slightly hazy straw yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of orange peel in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of orange peel with notes of wheat. No spices are detectable.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and has some refreshing properties. It’s a nice choice if you are looking for a citrusy witbier without the spices.

A: Pours a lightly hazy straw yellow in color with some moderate visible carbonation and some visible yeast particulates. The beer has a half finger tall white head that reduces to a thin layer over the majority of the surface of the beer and a thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Some light amount of lacing is observed.
S: Extremely light in aroma with just the most subtle hints of citrus peel (maybe orange or lemon).
T: Very light flavored but not watery or devoid of flavor. There is a nice flavor of wheat with some light hints of spice (maybe cardamom) and citrus/lemon/orange peel. I can definitely detect the presence of the yeast.
M: Light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Almost prickly on the tongue due to the heavy carbonation.
O: Refreshing and very easy to drink, not as much a presence of spice as I would have expected and hoped for... Definitely this is a sessionable beer and the price could not be beat (as I got it in a special deal for $2.99 for the 750ml bottle).

Poured on tap at Pizza Paradiso Dupont DC into a tulip glass.
White head which is very creamy, with a super pale lemon cloudy body. Very opaque but not totally.
First whiff is cardomom for me and sweetness follwed by some yeast. It smells like a classic witbier, muted lemon. Slightly grassy but even a hint of veggie sense, not picking up the coriander that it claims to have.
Taste is a nice bread lingering finish, and a yeasty pleasant body. Chewy wheaty like malt and grain with a good simple light body.
Overall hits the spot and a good definition of a simple witbier.
