Served on tap at the brewery of origin 5 seasons ATL, GA.
A: very amber gold, with a thin white lacing for a head. Not very impressive
S: smells of sweet rye malt, hardly a notice of hop but still is traceable. Small amount of citrus. I'm interested to see how it tastes.
T: large toasted rye malt overtones. Big body and nice carbonation. Quite bitter, evens out well with the malt profile. Straightforward ESB, good beginner beer
O: not one of my favs but a good one to say the least. I'll take a 5th season eh

Appearance: Hazed, mahogany-hued body with a thin layering of white froth.
Smell: Aroma of oven-toasted biscuit tops with some vague, distant sweetish tones to it and paired with spicy, herbal notes from the English hops.
Taste: Malts display a strong flavor of toasted biscuits lightly dusted over with pinch or two of light brown sugar. Touch of apricot fruitiness slips in. Mild Noble hop character gives a hint of herbaceous spiciness and no more than a low, easy-going bitterness. Finishes dry with a further hint of bitterness and a continued biscuity taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: A very drinkable, very enjoyable ESB! I fully admit to having four glasses worth the stuff during my visit (or was it five).

Comes out of the tap a hazy honey-golden with a thin white head. Aroma is rich, hoppy, fruity and rather tempting. Hoppy flavor has undertone of fruit, apple or banana (or both) and is fairly but pleasantly bitter. Texture is edgy, ragged and fairly fizzy. Definitely worthy.
