Made a point to detour the trip home from Carolina so that I could stop in and check this place out.
Easy to get to from the interstate and anybody travelling I-40 through Asheville.
Nice, clean, well layed out store. Not the largest in square footage, but they have purely gone for the quality not quantity strategy and it definitely works.
Honestly I could have spent much more time in there. Either looking through much more of the merchandise or talking to the very friendly help. Was able to pick up some beer that's local to the area, and some other import stuff that we just don't get locally to me.
They have a great selection of beer. Add to that glassware, signs, t-shirts, hats and other accessories.
Fridge full of singles and growlers from local breweries. Pisgah and others.
Great store in a great part of town. Wish this place was local to me.

went to asheville twice this year- i like bruisin' ales so much ill definitely make sure i hit it every time im in the area. the staff was friendly and helpful. they weren't snarky. seemed to enjoy talking about beer. with the beer scene exploding in asheville they are the ground zero beer store- if youre downtown stop by and get a sticker for your beer fridge.

Small and quite highly priced IMO. The staff was nice but I had a hard time pulling the trigger on anything because of the prices.
After I went to the Greenlife Grocery store up the road and everything was at least a dollar or two more at Brusin'Ales.
There was an above average selection and I believe you can make your own sixer if desired.

As many have noted, the place is very small, but well-stocked and organized. The excellent/ knowledgeable service is what's great about this store. The staff is clearly into beer, points out recent releases and newly stocked beers, and makes useful suggestions on both beer and other Asheville destinations. The place has a very beer-geek vibe and they sell single 12oz bottles...which is a hugh plus for me. A must stop at whenever I'm in Asheville.
