Aromas of hops and orange, with a taste that matches. A little rough, very heavy on the orange flavor. I think I would have picked a less hoppy beer to brew with orange peel. However, based on this, I wouldn’t mind trying their regular IPA. I think this is a good IPA they ruined with orange.

Cut the BS. This is a solid 4-star beer. The orange peel flavor is subtle, but if you pay attention it hits you with a clean initial taste before it's enveloped by the traditional hoppy flavor that a solid craft beer should deliver after you take a sip. I wouldn't call this beer exceptional because i've had many other that compare. But in many ways it's akin to a 4-star hotel. That is, there's a bunch out there to choose if you have the money, and they've become almost standard, but it still delivers the above average quality you expect and are very satisfied with. Try it... it's a great beer that i'd recommend to all especially if you're looking for something solid. (but isn't that beer id remember for being one of the best)

Deep, turbid, amber color. Not much head, a thin ring; off white. Aroma is bready and quite sweet, some hints of tangerine and plum. The flavor completely surprised me, this beer is crazy bitter and hides any sweetness the aroma offered. The balance is strange to say the least but I couldn't help but give this beer good ratings due to my affinity for bitternesd. Some might not overlook the balance but I find it enjoyable. Faint sweetness on the finish, but bitterness really masks eveything. I am fairly surprised to see the alcohol is only 7.5, I can detect some heavy alcohol notes.
