From mild to wild this one’s the perfect companion for whatever you’re up for. Crisp wheat smoothness gives way to a touch of coriander snap and a kiss of sweet orange peel perk that lingers on your lips. With a beautiful cloudy golden hue and ample head this one makes you love her more with every pour.

Easy drinking with soft flavor of spice and fruit notes. Great summer session beer.

This beer is on par with the city in which it is brewed in: trash, disgraceful and loser-esque. (Yes if you live in Detroit willingly you’re a loser) anyway this beer reeks of skunk and tastes like someone threw a stick of butter in a freezer and then tried to liquify it. It is absolute garbage and has no right to be poured outside of dumpster fire Detroit.

Serviceable as a beer to wash down lunch. Tacos with mild salsa today. I probably won't repeat Dirty Blonde because many others can wash down lunch. But Dirty Blonde Looks interesting enough in the style and gives faint Smells of orange peel and coriander. Balanced, the yeast works up the wheat character. However it doesn't seem to translate into much more than a thin Feel; cleanses the palate, but no soft sensation of most wheats. Average.
For my micro-review... Atwater's specialty in darks has piqued my curiosity and I'm open to try others. I want to like Atwater, It has two sites in Detroit and seems to be making a go of that tough-sledding. Detroit remains one of my American hurt spots. By 1945, Detroit was the Arsenal of Democracy; pushing planes and tanks out production lines that saved World War from being even more horrible... and stimulated the U.S. economy. Two decades later, riots and politics caused the establishment to turn and run and by the late 1980s, Detroit was an urban dystopia. The road back has been slow. And I believe it would have been made better and quicker if beer was a bigger part of Detroit's revival. Atwater has tried and for that, I give them good Overall Hugs.

Smells like mystery smells from the back of a fridge. Doesn't taste like a beer, but it is very creamy, light. Classic wheat look, though, with very nice haze.
Too weird to recommend, and the stench tanks it hard. I've liked skunked beers better on the nose.

This is a 12oz. can poured into my Atwater pint glass. This Ale is a hazy yellow with lots of carbonation. There was a 1.5 inch pure white head that left in a hurry with zero lacing left behind. There is no filtration, so there are plenty of little guys swimming around in the glass
The aroma is a pleasant yeast aroma, that is all I am picking up.
The flavor is very light wheat and yeast up front with a touch of orange at the end. This is not overly sweet and not bitter at all.
The mouth feel is medium and the heavy carbonation in not a factor.
I like this beer, simple, maybe, but it is very refreshing and tasty. The low ABV allows one to enjoy several of these in one sitting.

Hazy and blonde with a ton of suspended sediment floating around like sea monkeys. Lasting foam, good retention, some spotty lacing. Smell is virtually nonexistent, some mild yeast and that’s about it.
Coriander is very present in the taste, otherwise there’s not a lot there. Mild and very carbed, plenty of burps. Light astringency, somewhat sweet. Overall this a pretty boring beer, even for entry level craft. Thanks to Lee for this one!
