750ml bottle into a matching Struise cervoise. The brew appears a clear golden yellow initially and gets progressively hazy with additional pours. 3 fingers of white sudsy lace appear atop and produce a patchy wall of lacing effect. A swirl releases a finger back to the surface.

The aroma is pretty fantastic with a fresh almost sweet and jam-like inclusion of peaches. Exceptionally juicy with a mild raw oak and woody character blended into a bit of earthen aspect an slight sukfur.

The taste is just very, very mild and watery. It had a slightest inclusion of a carbonic bite or spritz about it with an aftertaste of raw oak and mild earth. The flavor here is quite a let down compared to how fresh and juicy smelling this brew was. No peach flavor resides, its character is all in the nose.

This is a very light bodied brew with a spritzy or seltzer-like feel of bubbles that scrub the tongue. It smelled excellent but the flavor left a lot to be desired. This brew would make one heck of a palate cleanser. Beyond that, its not that good.

Thanks to Rado for sharing this one at mrbubbler's tasting.

Best before 11/24/15. Lot no. 0001-24-11-2012.

Pours a hazy light yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is sour with malt, fruit, candy, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour grain, fruit, candy, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with interesting candy like aromas and flavors.

Serving type: bottle.

Late 2012 Rating: Drank most of a 75 cl. Pours a bright golden with a white head. Smell is sweet compote, canned peaches, peel, summer fruits, Belgian yeast and blossoms. Taste is compote, canned apriot, canned peaches liquid, blossoms, honey, light yoghurt Belgian yeast in the ending with some 0% chocolate milk chocolate. Lovely slightly creamy, compote body. This is awesome, I love, finely a fruit beer like it should be instead of that chemical crap that usually should pass one – 2nd? I think great non-sour fruitbeer I try.

Tried again in 2013: just as good still.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy yellow orange. Big white head and lengthy retention. Wispy surface and a thick collar.

Smell - Stone fruit. Slight funk. Lots of pale malt. Kind of a spritzy juice aroma.

Taste - Pale malt is much stronger. Just a touch of tang. Light peach. Kinda dull besides a bit of funk.

Mouthfeel - Very light. High carbonation.

Overall - Interesting flavors, but too light in body and not enough of the good flavors.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Served in a snifter.

A - Big white foam settles to a thin cap, thick collar, and splotchy lacework. Murky peach juice body.

S - Tastes like a mix of peach juice and seltzer, with a bit of light oak to it. Quite fruity and pleasant.

T - The taste is not as compelling. The peach and pale malt flavors are overwhelmed by seltzery soda water and oak. Needs more beer and fruit character here. Not bad, but just sort of dull.

M - Smooth, soft, medium body, with moderate carbonation. Seems like a bigger beer than the listed 4.5%

D - I liked this a little more than previous reviewers, but it's a pretty middling effort for Struise. Not worth seeking out, especially if you have to have it shipped across the Atlantic. Still, it went down quite easily and was refreshing on a hot summer day.

According to the label this beer is a blonde ale with fermented peaches and aged for a year in oak barrels.

A: hazy yellow beer with a big white head, the small bubbles dissappear fast

S: very inviting smell, fruity, peaches (duh), reminds me of a peachcider, vinous

T: sweet and fruity upfront, peaches and pineapple with some vanilla which flows into a nice hoppy ending, I expected to get more of the barrel-aging

M: smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation, light bodied

O: for a struise brew I had huge expectations, and was somewhat let down, however this is still a great sessionbeer with a pleasant fruity twist, and not like your standard generic fruitbeer
