I visited this place on a wet Saturday evening in October 2008. We had tried to have lunch there earlier but all tables were taken, so we adjourned to Vlissinghe which is just around the corner and over the bridge.

There are tables on both sides with a central aisle running up to the bar, but it is quite small. Nice relaxing jazz music playing, the walls are decorated with various musical instruments (saxaphone, trombone etc.) and there is a large painting of the canal area on one wall.

There are five taps (Brugse Zot blonde, Brugse Zot bruin, Leffe, Jupiler and Watou Wit) and a beer menu with 7 Trappist beers and 22 other bottles listed. A reasonable list for a small place.

A drawback is the limited opening hours and I think that it is closed on 2 days a week. Overall a very nice quiet local and I imagine it must come into its own on a pleasent Summers evening when you can sit on the outside terrace that gives it it's name.
