Pours from the bottle with a welcoming orange-amber color, but there is only a thin, fizzy head that quickly settles to little more than a ring of eggshell-white foam. The aroma is predominately a dull musty/herbal character with a bit of tart yeast, but barely any of the fruit I had expected. The flavor is initially dry biscuity malts, again with only a little bit of berry sweetness, and a lasting, sharp yeasty tang takes over in the finish. The flavor profile comes across very much like a dry Belgian blonde, with the tiny bit of fruit being the only difference. The low carbonation fails to lift the dry, dull flavors. Overall, contrary to the promises of the label, this beer was not so refreshing, the raspberries were hard to identify, and the yeast component was quite assertive rather than alluring.

This is my least favorite beer from Big Boss. I love this brewery and I was so excited to try this one but I am not a fan of it. Not terrible, and I had more than one, but not one I would choose to have again. This will sound weird but this beer reminded me of Miller High Life the first time I tasted it. I can't get over that when I drink it. Again, not terrible, but not great by any means.

On tap at Bottlemixx

A - light gold with a thin lacing of white head that has little retention; a lot of carbonation rising to the top

S - simple; faint raspberries

T - mild raspberries, a bit tart, some light syrupy sweetness, a bitter finish that is a bit too intense for the raspberries

M - light bodied, crisp, a bit heavily carbonated

This is a pretty simplistic fruit beer. It's not over the top or too fruity, but it is a bit too bitter. There isn't much here to impress, but if you enjoy fruit beers, this is probably worth trying.

This is a new beer from Big Boss. It bouts a faint yellow with a light head with very tiny bubbles and average to pour lacing. It smells interesting since you can pick up the raspberries as well as what I can only call a box permanent for (women's) hair. It's not overwhelming but it is present. The taste is ok and the raspberries are welcomed. I would recommend if you could find it.
