This is still brewed,Iam drinking a new bottle right now.Pours into a weizen glass a russet/copper color with lacey slight off white head atop.It smell like bananas foster with it's caramel and banana notes.Flavors of toasted wheat and chocolate malts but not overly sweet, the toasted notes stand out most, not overly phenolic. It's not bad but not overly complex, the toasted flavors are nice.

On tap at the brewery's tasting room
Pours with a nice orange hue and a thin lacing of head. Nose is dominated by clove. The taste is also dominated by clove with only a faint maltiness coming through. Medium bodied and well carbonated.
I was hoping for a little more balance and flavor. This beer is a little too one dimensional for me.

Though I really wanted to like it, it's been my least favorite of the Big Boss line. Purchased a growler without trying it from their brewery.
A - Cloudy Caramel colored with a small head that stuck to the glass
S - Bland malt, floral
T - Tart/sweet with some floral undertones. Decent after taste
M - Easy to drink
D - Bland yet easy to drink Dunkle
BL: Glad this is just a seasonal that isn't going to stay on tap very long.

On-tap at Crabtree Tavern. I must say I was hesitant to try since my last Big Boss beer was a drain pour. (it was bottled and someone mentioned to me the qc was not up to snuff) However, I am glad I tried this. Tan, hazy color with nice head and lacing. Nice clove, malty smell. Taste was just enough sweetness from the malts, nice interpretation of a Dunkel. Mouthfeel and drinkablity was good so I had two while waiting for my wife to finish shopping at the mall. I think I am going to try this on the the home tap.

Sampled on tap at Tyler's in Apex.
A - Light brown with a hazy finish and a small off-white head.
S - Cloves, honey and toasted malt.
T - Semi-sweet with some honey, banana and lemon. A light lingering bitterness. A bit tame but good.
M - A moderate to thin consistency with a low carbonation.
D - Decent and easy to drink but not especially flavorful.
