Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of malts, some breadiness. Taste is crisp, hops, floral notes, some malts, bitter at the finish, refreshing. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Had on draft at Sam's in Durham.
Pours a golden color with a light head. Very light, almost nonexistent aroma of malts. taste isn't much better, drinkable but nothing at all to write home about. very dry and very "light" taste. not much flavor to speak of. it goes down easy enough though.
Overall would not have this again. it's not impressive in any way. Maybe better for non craft beer drinkers to introduce them to something other than Bud Light.

A: Golden, clear, light carbonation.
S: Very estery, fruity banana, kinda over the top. Good hop / malt balance. Get some English hop character.
T: Tastes more like an English Bitter, but a little too estery for that. Really feel like this is fermented with an English ale yeast.
M: Low to medium moulthfeel. Fairly dry
O: Would not give this high marks as a Kolsh. Malt and hops would be good for a bitter, but even still would be a little estery.

A - Goldenrod, with almost non-existent head.
S- Smells of white grape, citrus, and grain.
T - Grape, apple, citrus, bitter fruit. Light grain profile. Dry aftertaste.
M - Moderate, to maybe a little watery.
O - Not my favorite beer by any stretch. Not repulsive, but definitely not even close to something I'd look for again in the future. Maybe it's the style, being more of a fan of malty, dark beers. However, I do enjoy a good pale ale from time to time. This Kolsch was a no-go for me.

A: Pours a hazy medium golden yellow in color with brighter yellow highlights and some moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy white head that reduces to a small thin patch of larger bubbles, a very thin film covering about three quarters of the surface, and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of biscuit malts with a slight hint of graininess and light fruits (white grape and apple).
T: Upfront there is a moderate amount of biscuit malts with a light amount of sweetness with a faint hint of honey. Light amounts of grassy hops that contribute a light amount of bitterness which fades rather quickly.
M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp.
O: Easy to drink and refreshing, a nice flavorful kolsch though perhaps a little lacking in hop presence. I could definitely have a couple of these in a session.

A - pours a crystal clear pale straw color. A fingers worth of pearly white foam quickly dissipates to a ring around the rim. Leaves a bit of spotty lacing along the glass.
S - bright and concentrated aroma. White grapes at the forefront. Some floral notes and hints of stalky plants. Whisps of white flour crackers.
T - dry on the tip of the tongue. Lots of white grape flavor and some green apples with a hint of acidity which sways between grapey and lemony. Herbal character in the center giving an extra but of depth. Quick and crisp finish.
M - light bodied with a slightly watery texture. Medium carbonation keeps it surprisingly crisp.
O - i love a good kolsch. thought it is on the cooler side this it still hits the spot. Just awesome overall.
