Has the largest selections within at least 50 miles of Bemidji. If I want a specialty or hard to find beer and I'm not going to be in the cities for a while, this is the place to go. You can now build your own 6-pack. A quick phone call with one of their helpful employees can save you a 10 minute trip if you want to be sure your brand is there. Previous comments were about beer. The wine selection looks huge and Beehive was the only place in town we were able to find Pendleton whiskey. There are always bottles on sale throughout the store and they often have tastings.

Alright first off, this place is like an oasis in the middle of a desert. Located less than 20 miles from the Headwaters of the Mississippi River and 6 miles from the statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, this store is fast becoming a legend in the north woods. With over 400 different beers in stock, you'd have to drive 5 hours south and God only knows how far in any other direction to match their selection.
Sure, you've got all the typical macro stuff, both foreign and domestic that you'd find in most any decent liquor store. Where this store shines is it's specialty/craft selection. 80-100 different Belgians are on hand at any one time and not just the typical stuff.
All the Trappist Ales, (with the exception of Westvleteren). The entire Brasserie Dupont line, as well as all the beers from Brasserie de Blaugies. 6 different kinds of Cantillon. An outstanding selection from Drie Fonteinen, Boon, Huyghe, Caracole, Brasserie d'Achouffe, De Glazen Toren, Brasserie à Vapeur, St. Bernardus, damn the list just keeps on going and growing!
They try to keep 30-40 different German brews on hand as well. With stuff from Ettaler, Ayinger, Konig Ludwig, Kulmbacher, Mahr's, Flensburger, Schwelmer, Weihenstephaner, Schneider, Erdinger, hell they even have Leipziger Gose!
On the North American craft front they stock beers from Avery, Arcadia, Jolly Pumpkin, North Coast, Rogue, New Holland, Bells, Boulder, Mactarnahan's, Pyramid, Left Hand, Victory, Capital, Lake Superior, Mendocino, Sprecher and the entire Unibroue line to name a few.
With a friendly, helpful staff and monthly beer sampling sessions, this store is absolutely worth your time if you are anywhere close to it and worth a drive if you're not.
