The colour is copper (19 EBC), the liquid is clear. No head at all.
The smell is light. Some yeast, hay and a distinct sweetness. Very balanced.
The taste starts with soft malty flavours and a mild yet distinct, almost sharp sweetness. Some minerals and caramel plus a hint of old cellar vaults that I recon from other Skebo ales. Sort of a house taste? The aftertaste brings a growing clean bitterness with some wheat-sour hints. Apricots and dry malt in the finish.
The carbonation is very, very mild; the small bubbles smooth. The liquid is also very smooth.
A very balanced and coherent bitter. Smooth and gulpable, as the Skebo bitters use to be.
