I stopped by this liquor store in June or July 2006, but found it very unremarkable and unworthy of adding to this site. However, things have changed considerably since then.
I visited today, and of 9 cooler doors, 6 were either crafts or imports. This store also has an aisle of 12 oz single serves. They do not appear to have the assortment just right yet, in that they have some rather common items in that aisle. However, through their website and staff, they seem interested in creating a customer-service oriented store stocking what people demand. So, I'm guessing they'll stock whatever custoers suggest.
I spoke to the counter staff, and they seemed both knowledgeable and curious as to what I would like to see. A good experience. This is in my neighborhood, and I will be back.

I've heard a lot of good things about this place but after meeting, who I think is the owner, I beg to differ. First, I know quite a bit about wine and was hoping for the same intelligence or more for that matter, but he seemed to have other things on his mind other than enlightening me with what he has to offer in his store. He suggested some wines, which was nice but I felt like he couldn’t get rid of me fast enough when purchasing them at the counter. Another thing, the tiny paper descriptions of the wines are hard to understand and everything seemed a bit cluttered. I'm glad I stopped in to see what it was all about but I will most likely continue to purchase my wines elsewhere. They must be doing something right considering how long they have been in business - maybe their regulars are keeping them at bay; Because he sure did not make me feel like one of them.

So I made it to the new location finally, and chatted with Shawn the beer guy. They were hosting a beer tasting, but he took time out to explain the beer selection and field questions. Awesome service. Every saturday afternoon they hold a beer tasting apparently. Singles selection was top notch, though a bit smaller than Woodmans in Oak Creek, and less deep than Discount in Milwaukee. It's a cool place, just not an "end all, be all" selection. They had a bar in the back with 2 taps, currently pouring Sprecher EPA, not available outside the brewery. The next brewery event is with O'So, and they are bringing 2 exclusive kegs to put on for the event. There was a cozy lounge area toward the back of the store, it felt like hanging out at a friend's house almost, instead of your typical bar. Unique place, definitely check it out if traveling in the area...

Spacious, clean, well laid out store. Beer shelves had a ton of singles, the main draw of the place. There were a couple empty spots, with signs saying "something good coming soon, watch this space" suggesting an expansion of their selection in the near future. My purchases focused mainly on WI stuff, though there were many import singles available as well. A few that I picked up: Ale Asylum, LL, South Shore, Central Waters, Tyranena, New Glarus, Esser's, Lakefront, etc. The 4.5 selection score is based on the fact that just about everything is available in singles. They may not have the magnitude of Discount, but the selection is still great.
Service was helpful, the first 6-pack I loaded up was held at the counter while I browsed further. There was a small bar off to the side, perfect for hosting beer tastings. There was sunlight coming in the large front windows, but they were frosted halfway up. Haven't had any skunked brew yet. Everything has been tasty thus far.
A convenient stop off 94 if you're not planning to spend time in Milwaukee.

I visited this store for the first time tonight. One of the owners said the store has been opened for three months now. They're currently doing some improvements to the place and are working on increasing their inventory.
The owner said they have plans in the works for a beer club and periodic tastings.
Great selection of singles! Prices are fairly reasonable. As an example, I noticed one Belgian ale I purchase on a fairly regular basis for a dollar less than I usually buy it for at Discount Liquor.
I recommend Three Cellars and plan to go back soon!

Three Cellars is sort of three places in one. A beer store, a wine shop, and a tasting bar.
The beers on offer are all top notch, leaning heavily towards Wisconsin beers. There were a couple of beers here I had just never seen before. However, the selection is really quite limited. For example, they had Gumballhead and Alpha King, but nothing else from FFF. Some Lake Louie, some Lakefront, some O'so. It was as if they were trying to carry a little bit of everything local, but not everything from each brewery. While I can appreciate what they're trying to do, I did feel as if the selection lacked depth.
Service was very helpful and knowledgeable. This is a small place and it doesn't take much to run into someone who works here.
Prices are on the high side, with many of the beers being sold individually. Prices were actually so high I really had to limit my purchases here as it was difficult to justify the expense.

Hit Three Cellars up on a recent trip to Wisconsin for a wedding. The location is somewhat convenient to the airport, making it easy for me to swing by and pick up some stuff after my flight landed. They have a very large selection of single bottles, including lots of local stuff. The guy behind the counter was very helpful, pointing me to the Wisconsin brews (after I clarified I was looking for local beer, not local wine). Decent selection of beer from around the country and world as well. Good amount of refrigerated six packs too. Clean and well kept store.
I found it funny that Miller Chill and the like were included on the upper "local" shelf. I suppose it's true! Ah, Wisconsin.

I finally got to this place last weekend. It has some interesting hours.
It is a tiny place in a strip mall. It has a lounge in the front of the store and a bar in the back. There are a few coolers and the rest is wooden shelves of beer and wine. The beer is the right side of the store. They have a lot of stuff in singles which is a huge plus, but when we are talking selection it is pretty small. They do make up for it with having a ton of WI brews but if you want imports or national craft beers this isn't the place.
They had a free beer tasting which was nice. And they have 4 taps which are all very solid selections, but they don't sell growlers I don't think, or at least I didn't see the option nor did I ask.
The prices the WI beers seemed a bit pricey, but some other beers were well priced.
This is a cozy little store, but if you are looking for a better selection I wouldn't recommended it, the only exclusive thing you will find here is Lake Louie products. This place has a bit of a ways to go to turn into the hole in the wall gold mine that is West Lakeview Liquors.

I just spent over an hour in the cellar lounge drinking beer and chatting up the owner Shawn. This place is top notch. They carry everything I would ever want and its all in singles so you can make the ultimate sixer. The cellar lounge always has two taps to choose from. I had Moylans Kilt lifter and O'so big O. Shawn was super cool to talk with. He had great knowledge of all his beers and the beer community as a whole. The place is like a Starbucks that serves beer.( I stole that line) Comfy and warm with nice woooden racks for all the beer. Large chairs and couches to relax and sample any beer off the shelf if you choose. (They can chill any beer in 3 minutes)Shawn holds beer tasting/educational seminars every week. Plus brewery nights that focus on one specific brewery with actual reps from the brewery. Hands down the best beer buying experiance I've ever had. I will be back soon. (I signed up for a beer class) LOL

I made a visit to this shop after I found them on the web. I'm glad I did .
Very friendly staff, willing to help you on anything you need. This is a little bit of a trip for me , about twenty minutes or so but I try to make the trip at least once a month. The store is very clean and well kept. The beer selection is very good and seems to get better all the time .
The beer and wine tastings every sat are a bonus, and a great way to talk to other beer lovers and discover new beer you might just want to take home.
Prices seemed average to slightly above but I joined their build your own six pack club , so you get a little discount. I highly recommend at least a stop in.
