One of my favorite IPAs to date. Had it on tap at Pagosa Brewing & Grill, and brought home a squealer (32 oz jug). Definitely liked it better than the milder Pagosa Pale Ale. Strong hops with a balanced flavor that is perfect after a hard day of skiing at Wolf Creek, great pine and citrus notes and aromas.

With an aggressive pour the head is only one finger and very "airy," but dissipates down to nothing. No lacing. Cloudy caramel color. (The beer unfiltered so I don't know if the cloudiness is intentional or just a necessary evil.)
Pleasant grapefruit nose, slightly floral, sweet and a little spicy.
Initially the flavor is sweet and citrusy with a little bitterness in the back of the mouth. (Note the beer had been the very back of the fridge and was about 38F.) As the beer warmed to a more reasonable temp. the flavors really woke up, and the hops became more noticeable. It seems a bit more malty than on the hoppy.
Very smooth and viscous.
Very quaffable.

Not real sure in the ABV, if memory serves me correct 7.3%
Poured caramel with 2 fingers of off-white head. Good lacing & head retention
S: Nice piney hops with some breadyness. Caught citric hops once warmed up
T: Piney hops, a bit of caramel & breadyness up up front. Citrussy hops surface as this warmed. Finished with nice hop snap & decent maltyness
MF: Medium-bodied with a little chewyness, moderate carbonation & great balance
Drank really easy for the ABV. A pretty good offering. well done AIPA!
