Wow. For a beer bar I would say that Dewey's is definitely not top notch but as a restaurant holy smokes! The food is phenomenal and the service is top notch. Each Dewey's location has a different selection of beer with some of the same base breweries. I'm often able to get Oberon on tap in the summers and local beers on tap year round. A good selection of darker to lighter beers all of which are craft/local. Overall, this is one of my favourite places to eat at as I can drink great beer and eat great food :)

Stopped in here after Kellers the first night I got into town as I had heard a lot about this place and wanted to check it out for myself. Very nice establishment, with a nice family friendly atmosphere that made me feel quite at home right away. Staff was very friendly and I quickly grabbed a spot in a booth and ordered a Kalamazoo Stout and small pie. Nice selection here with a good rounded amount of crafts some Bells, Stone, rogue, and DFH. Very cool. Food came out and was great as well. I found the place to be very nice, inviting and just a cool place I would take my kid too and be able to have a few good brews myself while I am it. There location right around from Kellers is a plus as well. Definitely would stop in here again, and stopped in a few more while I was up here!

What a nice, laid back place to have a brew and good food. The place is an upscale sorta pizza joint, especially when compared to usual pizza hut dump. Nice decor and atmosphere. When you walk in, you run directly into the bar. The bartender was quick and new what was on tap and what they actually were. Beyond general knowledge, I'd highly doubt they'd be an extreme help. The had good brews from Flying Dog, Bell's, Rogue, and a couple others. The Bell's and Rogue were seasonals which impressed me. Only 5-6 taps limits the selection a bit, but, comon! What other pizza joint within 100miles has good beer period? The food is amazing. I didn't have salad this time but if I go with 3-4 people we normally get a salad and 1 large pizza. The salads are huge so having a salad and a piece or 2 of pizza with a couple pints is very satisfying. The pizzas are absolutely amazing. Great selection of toppings and styles. The waiters were very fast with the food and the drinks.. I really couldn't complain about the service at all. The one draw back is the food is on the pricey side. I couldn't give an accurate price on the food because I normally just swipe the card. The pints were reasonable at $4 or $4.50.
Check this place out if you're in the mood for good beer in a laid back environment. And great pizza!

This is the second Dewey's location I've been to. I went to the Newport on the Levee one and now this (in Clifton). This one is tucked off the beaten path... just around the corner from most of the action at the corner of Ludlow & Clifton. They usually like to refurbish an older building to dress up a little slice of the atmosphere. They certainly did that here!
As you walk in, you notice the cleanliness and the modern layout. Then you walk right by the TAPS!.... YES!.... this is a pizza place that serves GOOD BEER! What a novel idea! The last time I went, was on 9/28/07 and they had on tap:
Southern Tier Phin and Matts
Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA
Rogue Mocha Porter
Bells Amber Ale
But their selection is always rotating....
The food? Any style of pizza you could imagine... plus you can create your own! My wife is allergic to all dairy products(!) They were very accomodating to her needs and were able to give her a very nice meal too.
The service was fantastic... very quick and helpful... as well as knowledgeable about their beers! And the value?.... You get a lot for a very reasonable price! I can't recommend this place HIGHLY ENOUGH.
