a: served in a standard shaker pint, the beer is a slightly yeast-hazed pale golden in color, capped with a layer of bone white carbonation

s: a cleanly structured wheat base supports well implemented aromas of clove and just-ripe banana, a nice balance of grassy noble hops, smells nice

m: carbonated to the higher side of the moderate range, body a refreshingly crisp light-medium

t: flavors of wheat malt carry a light, clean sweetness that hits briefly with flavors of clove, banana, and perhaps a touch of bubblegum, grassy hop flavors add balance and a mild bitterness

o: really enjoyed this kristalweizen, lots of the great range of character you would find in a nice hefeweizen without so much doughy, yeasty flavor, drinks well

Thanks to jcwattsrugger for bringing back this one from N. Carolina and sharing!

Pours bright golden with nice clarity and a white head that thins and stays, leaving ample lacing.

The smell is of banana/clove - I should say clove/banana.

The taste is of banana/clove with a touch of bubblegum. It has a sweetish, crisp finish.

Light-bodied, but creamy with soft carbonation and exceptional smoothness. Crisp.

A very good example of the style. A refreshing, smooth brew!
