Have been to this store a number of times recently, I love the place. They carry craft items that are not sold from other stores in the area. The staff is really knowledge of the products and more than willing to review and make suggestions with customers--they are not just sales people that work in the shop (which is a huge plus to me) they know the products. They also get rare items in and offer them out instead of holding on to them, just picked up a Weasel Rodeo from Jester King today-hope to see this store and customers grow so I don't have to make longer drives for craft items. I was coming to the DFW area on business and posted on here asking for recommendations for a local place to check out a selection of brews. The guys sent an email to me saying I should stop by and see what they had. Nice selection however I could get the majority back home but the service was first rate!!! They had a few limited distro brews in the back that they made available to me as well. Real hospitality here and much appreciated. I would come back again when in town to see if I could throw them some business. Check em out if ur in town!

Stopped by for the first time on 4/26

A- Good friendly atmosphere

Q- They had a very good selection of top brewery offerings. They even held a BBA Anderson Valley Stout for me. A lot of places will not do that. I certainly appreciated that!

S- The guy working there was very helpful and showed me around their selections as soon as he found out it was my first visit. I was pleasantly surprised on how much they had.

S- They had an outstanding selection of Texas offerings. I haven't seen any Austin Beerworks or Karbach anywhere else in DFW. I also found several on my wants list (that I keep in my mind...lol) I really underestimated what I was going to find here. I spent $50 very quickly and could have easily spent more....lol!

V- I thought that the prices were in line with most places

This is a great spot and is a must visit when in the DFW area. They have great service and a great selection that makes for an easy time spending money. A must visit!

The owner's (co-owner?) name is Rick and he was working the counter when I came in. He has a top notch selection. Ask Rick for anything special you have in mind (or just ask him if he's holding any rarities in the back). He will physically go into the back and check for you. I went there, and he came back with St. Arnold DR10, 11, a bomber of DR12, Stone Mint chocolate stout, and gave me great recommendations when I couldn't decide between some beers. The guy and his store are Class A, 10/10, totally awesome. I can't say enough good things about him. Go check it out. Guarantee you will not be disappointed.

One of the best selections of craft beer in the DFW metroplex, with many hard-to-find beers in stock that you won't find anywhere else. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who will help you get what you're looking for. Great selection of keg beer also, especially local brews. Will be one of my first choices if I'm looking for something special or interesting.

Excellent and knowledgeable staff were able to help me select several specialty beers for my brother's birthday.

Matt spent a great deal of time helping me select the best beers according to my brother's interests.

Very helpful and extremely knowledgeable.

Would recommend Lone Star Beverages to anyone that is going to be in the DFW area!

Visiting from Oklahoma. I wanted to find something in Carrolton that could represent with some local beers and those not available in Oklahoma. I was very pleased with the selection. Great selection outside the beer cooler and a great selection inside. Had all the locals and regionals in 12 oz and bombers. The manager had many suggestions of the locals and what was new. He was extremely helpful. I will definitely return. When we said we were looking for a place to eat downtown before a concern, the manager suggested two places and then looked up the addresses and wrote them down for us. He did not have to do that. They also have beer tastings on Friday's from 5-8PM. Great for a novice or a more experienced beer collector.

I really like this store. I just went in here about an hour ago, expecting it to be another run of the mill BMC joint because of the appearance from the outside. Don't let yourself be fooled. This place has a really good selection. It's fall (well pretty much) so naturally I wanted some fall seasonal beers and walked in expecting to be disappointed. When you come in, there is a section on the left for singles, big bottles and imports that are not cold. There's a beer cave with plenty of good craft selections from Deschutes, DFH, Maui and a lot of Texas brews. They also do a mix a six for $9.99. Not a ton of selection on this but it beats paying $2.99 a bottle anywhere else. I checked out with my mix and asked the clerk (I think he was the owner) if they were expecting any DFH Punkin'. He walked to the back and brought me out a 4 pack. Told me that if I was looking for something rare or that it wasn't on the shelf just to ask and he would check for me. Really nice guy and overall, a really nice store.

This is one of my favorite beer stores in Dallas ! The employees are very helpful and kind. The owner ( I think his name is Rick) is a true gem to the beer industry and will go out of his way to find what your looking for ! I was lucky enough to find some 512 double pecan porter among other limited beers!

I also buy kegs here from time to time and they always arrive quickly and are very fresh ! If you follow them on Facebook they always post their new releases day of and if you check in on foursquare you get a discount.

One of the best beer stores around...don't waste your time at Specs or Centenial

I visited this place on my way home from work and was unfortunatley dissapointed. They did have a good selection but not much better than Centennial or Goody Goody liquor. You have to walk into a cold refrigerator to check out the beer selection and most of the beers do not have prices on them. All of the beers they had I have seen at the forementioned liquor stores for a couple bucks cheaper. If you don't have a car and are in walking distance then this is a good place to go but if you have a car just go down the road to Centennial.
