Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass. 03/16/09.
Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a finger of soft beige head. The head slowly dropped to a thin layer leaving slight lacing and good retention. Aroma is subtle with malt and herbal hop.
Taste starts with a slight bready malt sweetness which quickly gives way to a stronger hop bitterness. Nice herbal and piny hop presence. Almost tea-like in flavor. Feel is light-medium bodied and well-carbonated. Very crisp and slightly astringent finish. Drinkability is good aside from the astringency.
Overall, a pretty good and hoppy pale ale. And very affordable too ($3 per 22 oz).

Poured from 22 oz bottle into my trusty glass mug. Colour is a dark amber/gold with an off white heavy head and a little lacing. Smells smooth with slight pine. Nice blend of hops and malt in the taste. Nothing great but not bad either. Goes down smooth. Prost!

Three fingers of head. Fairly clear, medium straw colored body.
Aroma is a pleasant pine, citrus and floral smell.
A strong bitter taste, pine mostly. A dry effect.
Crisp texture, moderate carbonation and medium body.
A solid APA, strong on the bitterness.

Dusky amber with a persistent finger of light toasted cream foam. Smells faintly of amber malts and english hops. Tea character. Flavor is cardboard oxidation and some sweet malt. Some muted bitterness. Pretty severer oxidation. Medium bodied with moderate carb and off dry finish. I feel like this one is old, but it's hard to tell sans date system....
